Jonas Brothers at Downtown Disney August 21st!
I just ordered my ticket...I wasn't sure if I was going to go, but I am! I'll probably be one of the oldest non-parents in the audience...I'm kind of nervous- I've been to many Hanson concerts, and their fans are crazy- I'm sure Jonas Brothers fans are just as crazy...I need to be prepared to be squished...

AHHHHHHHHHH!!!! I need to get to Florida by August 21st!!!!! Lol, don't worry, blackcauldron85...we can be old fogey non-parent fans together!
My sister and I actually saw them last Sunday (August 5th) at a free concert in Atlantic City! It was so awesome because first of all we were seeing them perform live, which was pretty cool enough!! But during the show, Kevin announced (twice) they were having a "Meet and Greet" after the show if you preordered their CD. I was going to buy the CD anyway, so we preordered the CD and got in line for the Meet and Greet. Unfortunately, the CD still hasn't come in the mail yet.
Also the "Meet and Greet" was literally a Meet and Greet. All the attendees basically got in a line and met, greeted, and hugged (I just shook their hands, lol) the Jonas Brothers. The guys were really nice and happy to meet their fans, but you could tell they were tired after performing. I brought my copy of their first album for them to sign, but it happened so fast, there wasn't time for autographs or posing for pictures. Well if you were fast enough to, lol. I just asked them quickly if I could take their picture, and Joe (the middle one) happily obliged and smiled, but I think I caught the youngest one, off guard, lol. I also hope I didn't blind them with my flash. It would've been cool if we got a picture with them, but the line was moving quick! All in all, it was a pretty cool experience meeting my favorite band and having this brush with fame.
Oh yeah...I don't blame you for being nervous about their fans. Not only was I one of the oldest fans, I was one of the very few males. Be prepared for lots of screaming kids and tweens. If their parents are with them, they'll probably be under more control (as in the case of the little girls and tweens with responsible parents). If they're alone with friends, you may want to clear the way. You may get lucky though and get a lot of fans like the girl behind me in line. She was so quiet because she was speechless and ready to faint since she was in the presence of the Jonas Brothers.
p.s. I'll post the picture if I remember after I upload the from my camera.

That's really cool that you saw them, Kram!!! And, you MET them! That's amazing! I'm so happy for you!!! Are you planning on coming to FL anytime soon?
Hanson fans (except myself and my friends
) are rediculous- pushing their way to the front, pushing, swearing (last time I saw them, there was some swearing going on). Jonas Brothers fans are younger than Hanson fans, so hopefully they're not as brutal. I'll probably be more in the back, so I can enjoy without the squishage!
bennyb, here is the link to Ticketmaster's Jonas Brothers page- just look for the Orlando House of Blues show, and click on "Find Tickets":

It'd be awesome if someone saw the show with me...it'll be lonely going to these concerts alone.
And, as a reminder, I earlier posted that I'm seeing Mandy Moore at Downtown Disney on 9/7. If anyone is interested in joining me, that'd be swell!!!

I just got back from the show- it was awesome! Even better than I expected! It was so much fun (and they're even cuter in person
). My ears are hearing things a little muffled, but that's alright. I had a great spot to watch the show from...it was such a great show!
And, I met bennyb98! We didn't watch the show together (which was probably good for his hearing), but we met up afterwards- he's nice!
The Jonas Brothers mentioned at the end of the show that they'll be at WLLX tomorrow morning at 8am. I'm guessing it's a radio station. I'm trying to find information and I called a radio station, but the line is busy. I'd love to meet them!
***edit*** Thanks to their Myspace page, I know what radio station they'll be at. I set my alarm for 5:30am, and I will try and head out to the radio station and try to meet them! I don't know if it'll work, but I have nothing else to do (but sleep!), and it won't hurt to try!!!!!!!

Thanks, Mason! I'm not trying to make you jealous...I just have nothing to do with my time, and it'd be neat to meet them. I shouldn't get my hopes up, though. Most fans of theirs will be in school, so I'm not sure if I'm the only one who'll show up or what (I still don't even know if people are allowed to go to the station to see them).
I slept maybe 3 or 4 hours...I still have energy from the concert, and I'm hoping to meet them!

Awww! And you didn't even stand with me! Lol! If you've heard Escapay's stories about me screaming on roller coasters, turn the volume up a notch, and that is me at a concert...lol.bennyb98 wrote:Sorry to bump the thread, but finally got back online to UD! Yes, the concert was amazing. I even got an autograph and photo with the opening act, and meeting blackcauldron85 was fun. LOL, anyone who likes screaming and jumping up and down and having a good time should go to a concert with her!
It was a fun day! That's cool that you got an autograph of Mr. Benson (I can't think of his first name), Ben- I didn't know that you got that- unless you told me and I was still too deaf to hear!
