How come? (101 Dalmatians?)
How come "101 Dalmatians (1961)" have to be the last Walt Disney's work to be on VHS later. Why can't others do it? By the way, I'm new here.

Okay, it re-released later in 1969, 1979, 1985, 1991! It was released on video in 1992 with The Jungle Book & Fantasia in 1991. Why can't it join the party. And 101 Dalmatians went to video on the WDMC print with Ichabod & Mr. Toad to be the 2 last WDMC prints. Luckily, it wasn't last for the Limited Edition of 1999. But, it will be last for 2008 along with "Sleeping Beauty (1959)" in 2008!Mr. Toad wrote:Later than what?

I still cant for the life of me figure out what the question even is. Is it that 101 Dalmatians is the last on DVD-which he points out it isnt. Is it that it is the last of the platinum editions - which it really isnt either now that there are 14.PeterPanfan wrote:Is this question really in need of a new thread?

Either this poster is under the age of 12 and doesn't know correct English, or this is another BOGUS posting just to get us all riled up.
I don't understand the question. Last according to what? Before what? And who gives a patoot about VHS? This is the modern age of DVD, and "101 Dalmatians" will not be the last on DVD.
I am totally confused.

You don't get it. You know that 101 Dalmatians is the last one. Both Peter Pan & The Jungle Book are before 101 Dalmatians. If it gets to be the last, we'll be crying for help. It was almost last for the 1999 WDMC print. But, it wasn't, for it was Ichabod & Mr. Toad, the last WDMC print.dvdjunkie wrote:Either this poster is under the age of 12 and doesn't know correct English, or this is another BOGUS posting just to get us all riled up.

1) You are correct that we dont get it.TheValentineBros wrote: You are stupid. You don't get it. You know that 101 Dalmatians is the last one. 2) You are correct that we have been reduced to crying, although perhaps not for the reasons you suspect
3) I don't think either junkie or I are stupid, although we may well be stuck up elitists.
4) Calling people studid is really no way to make friends on a new Board.

I think we're so confused because you're stating that 101 Dalmatians is last, but we all know that it's not. In fact it's supposed to be coming out in the spring of 08 and we know that Sleeping Beauty and Fantasia are sometime after that. I'm also very certain that there will be other Disney DVD's coming out after that.TheValentineBros wrote:You don't get it. You know that 101 Dalmatians is the last one. I think what you're trying to tell us is that you are frustrated about 101 Dalmatians being the last the get a big Special Edition treatment, since the Limited Editions left much to be desired for.
