favorite classic disney sidekick

Post by REINIER »

hi there, i think my topic got lost, so here's it again:
don't know if this has come up before, with all ''favorites''
Still, i'd like you all to name your favorite disney sidekick from the following (you may add some more) classic disney movies

The Sword in the Stone
The Black Cauldron
The Great Mouse Detective
When it comes to brains, I got the lion-share,
but when it comes to bruth strength, I'm afraid I'm at the shallow end of the gene pool

For overall score The Hunchback of Notre Dame (shame about "A Guy Like You" though). Hunchback's score is, like the film, much more mature and epic than most other Disney animated films'.

If we were going just on songs though, I think I would say Beauty and the Beast. (Although Pocahontas is only narrowly behind).
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

Ha, I must be the only one who liked the song, "A Guy Like You."

Anyways, to me, "classic" Disney means pre-80s. Not that I don't consider the Renaissance stuff Disney Classics, but you know... Anyways, so going by the pre-80's stuff, well, maybe off the top of my head I'd vote for Timothy from Dumbo. But... that's right off the top of my head. Actually, TinkerBell first, who is simply gorgeous and so fun!!!

Ha, I like that.
Woulden't have thought of Dumbo myself.
It is however a great choice

Slave2Moonlight, I agree about classic disney being pre-1980's, for me anything made during Walt Disney's lifetime to me is Classic Disney.

I liked Tinkerbell as well even if she did try to kill Wendy  I thought it added to her characters personality a bit. I love Fidget from Great Mouse Detective, I'm not sure why though. Other than that.....Raja from Aladdin is kinda cool I think I just like him because he's a tiger

Fidget and Gurgi for me. Although I would like to say Olivia, but I don't know if she would count.
