"The Cat From Outer Space" VHS Tape
I went to a yard sale today and I found a really old VHS tape called "The Cat From Outer Space". The video tape is in perfect condition and it has no clamshell case except the original label intact. As I played at the beginning of the tape, it has just the beginning of the movie, sadly, there was no "Neon Mickey" logo on this tape.
Somebody put splicing tape on each tape after being repaired.
This is a great film to watch.

Yeah, it was one of my first favorite Disney live-action films when I was a kid. Back when all I really had seen were: the two Witch Mountain films, the Parent Trap series (the '60s original and the first 2 TV movies, I didn't see part 4 in full), this movie, Pollyanna, Thomasina, and the 3 big live-action/animation combos (readily available on VHS at that time) Mary Poppins, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, and Pete's Dragon. Which is quite a small group of movies to be acquainted with in Disney's quite large live-action series.
My family had the movie taped off of the Disney Channel back in the late '80s / early '90s.

Whoa! I remember this movie! Saw it on Disney Channel years ago. Anyways congratulations on the vintage find lol.
I think I'll pick up this movie pretty soon on DVD, it's one of the few live-action ones I've seen hah.
Though it is a strange title..."The Cat from Outer Space!" hah.

2 Disney VHS Tapes I Got at a Yard Sale
In addition to the "The Cat From Outer Space" VHS tape, I found two more VHS tapes to add to my Disney collection:
1. "Mickey's Magical World" - This is the one that I haven't seen it before. It was hosted by Jiminy Cricket from "Pinocchio". Jiminy talks about Mickey's career and featured clips from several Disney cartoons including "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" from "Fantasia" and also the following cartoons:
1. "Thru the Mirror" (from the "Alice in Wonderland" DVD in the Special Features section)
2. "The Worm Turns" (from the "Spirit of Mickey" VHS tape and "Mickey Mouse in Living Color - Vol. 1" DVD)
3. "Magician Mickey" (from "Mickey Mouse in Living Color - Vol. 1" and "Funny Factory with Mickey - Vol. 1" DVD)
Don't forget, at the end of the special, they have the Mickey's 60 Years logo. That brings back some memories. They usually had a TV special from 1988 with John Ritter as Dudley Goode and Jill Eikenberry as Mia Loude with the casts of "Cheers", "The Golden Girls", "LA Law" and many others. This was a great special.
2. "The Small One" - A holiday classic from 1978 on VHS tape only. The film was also featured on the DVD "Classic Cartoon Favorites, Vol. 9 - Classic Holiday Stories".
Those two VHS tapes are from the Walt Disney Mini Classics Collection. It had this nice logo after the 1986 Walt Disney Home Video logo.
