A Disney Princess T.V. Series ???
Forum Member bruno_wbt discovered, on Wikipedia, a Disney Princess Television series that only airs in Japan. The Series features all new animated episodes of Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, Belle, and Jasmine, in all new adventures. This whole thing seems FAKE, but with Disney you never know.....and why would it only air in Japan?

I took an Intercultural Communications class last semester, and the teacher is from Japan. We learned a lot about Japan, and even watched some Japanese TV shows. She never mentioned anything about an English-speaking community there. I'm sure that there are people from English-speaking countries living there, and I'm sure that many Japanese speak English, but would they actually air shows in English? Are any other Japanese shows aired in English?!?Wikipedia article wrote:It is produced and aired for the English-speaking community of Japan.
Wikipedia article wrote:A second season has been announced.
That's one of the inconsistencies.Wikipedia artcile wrote:Season Three has been confirmed
And then there are spelling mistakes. I don't even believe all of the episode names...an "upcoming" Jasmine episode is called "Who's Dead in the Palace"...wtf?!?! That's just weird, in my opinion.
Plus, a standard Disney Princess picture is used as the article's picture- you'd think they'd use a picture from the show, like the title card or something. I just don't believe that this show exists. And, I don't know much about "Kingdom Hearts", but isn't the term "Princesses of Heart" from that game?
I googled "Disney Japan 'The Princesses of Heart'" just now, and mostly "Kingdom Hearts" stuff turned up, except for the first listing, which which was this article.

people who take wikipedia seriously are idiots. Wiki screws up with true info many times. this isn't true.

I'm convinced that this is entirely fake for several reasons.
1. The Disney animation studio in Japan closed in 2004
2. The episodes wouldve been all over Youtube
3. We would be seeing it all over the States since the Princess franchise is big money to Americans
4. John Lassetor wouldve already pulled the plug on it given that the reign of sequel terror has been declared over (princess dvds included) I also do not believe that he wouldve allowed for this show to even exist (less confirm a season 3)
5. Last but not least: NO LINK ON THE WIKIPEDIA ARTICLE TO PROVE THIS EXISTS!!!!!

Yeah, that's the first place I looked and I got nothing.toonaspie wrote:2. The episodes wouldve been all over Youtube
It is a good idea though, but I don't see this happening.
The episode titles are really funny though since they seemed so utterly bizarre.
My favorites:
Cooking with Gas (Belle)
The Evil Queen Had a Sister (Princess Snow White) [aired 2/2/07]
Merchandise (Princess Jasmine) [aired 3/26/07]
Prince Philip's Brother (Princess Aurora) [aired 3/23/07]
Footloose (Princess Ariel) [aired 4/27/07]
Yes it is. As soon as I clicked the link I saw "The Princesses of Heart" I was like "Okay, so they basically ripped the title from Kingdom Hearts?" I don't think Disney would let that happen since it's also a Square-Enix thing. It's obviously fake and there are no other signs of the show anywhere.blackcauldron85 wrote:

Besides "The Princesses of Heart" in Kingdom Hearts were:
Jasmine
Alice
Belle
Snow White
Cinderella
Aurora
Kairi
But hey a Princess T.V Show would be cool, but it would probably be aimed towards little girls anyways.

That won't happen since the first attempt on it failed.Prudence wrote:I truly wouldn't mind a Cinderella series, if it was at least above average in my book.
