Here's sumthin' I've been dying to ask since I learned how to spell "table".

Why is a blackboard called a blackboard when it's green the whole time?

LOL. I don't know where you are from, but I actually have black blackboards. I've seen green ones, but mostly black.

MY question is....why have you been wondering that ever since you could spell table? What does that have to do with anything?
