I picked up my copy today. I might watch it tomorrow! I hope it will be good! I've never seen it... well, I think I've never seen it.

The only thing is that I don't really like the covert art of this DVD... it could have been more colorful. But well, nothing can be perfect ;)

I wish the spine were purple, like it looks in the commercials on TV and in some of the pictures, and I also wish there was a banner at the top.

In the top left corner....it looks..well blah.

I guess I don't really care...but I'm just saying.
Just like a river rushing straight into the sea.... I'm the one thing meant for you, and you for me

It's all nice looking an stuff! Gunna go watch it!

I don't really like how they put the Disney Movie Rewards logo on the slip, back of the slip, and twice on the case art! Other then that I think the cover art is nice and tranquil lol.

I do however like that they put it on at least once....I would prefer they did put a small logo on the outside of all or something so that when I am buying from someone on ebay, I can see if it should come with a code, I bought the little einstiens, movie for my daughter, code for me, but there was no code or anything inside about the codes so I really dont know if I just got unlucky again or if its not a real copy, either way it looks great and my daughter loves it, but I wouldnt have bought it if I didnt think it had a code.

(i know im off the topic,,,sorry)

So back on track, Ive never been a big pooh fan but I did buy this movie...is it any good?

Why don't you pop it into your DVD player and find out? ;) Really, though, it's far better than any of the Pooh films that followed it. Even most people who aren't Pooh fans like this one to some degree.

they still have that thing where you tell disney what movies you have and if something happens, like a disc snapped in half, they will replace it free of charge. I dont have it offhand but i know i got it from here and someone is bound to know what im talking about.

Well I watched this...and I liked it a lot, it brought back instant flashes of memory lol. The movie is actually pretty good...but I was really let down at the end...because well...I didn't really like Pooh's Character...

I watched it with my best friend...and we both noticed that Winnie the Pooh in this movie is kind of a blunt selfish inconsiderate character...and that made kinda sad...

1. He only visits Rabbit because he uses small words like "how bout lunch?" and "help yourself Pooh"

2. He ate all of Rabbits Honey!

3. When he meets Tigger, he gets really annoyed! When Tiger introduces himself again...Pooh go's "You said that" in an annoyed voice...then when Tigger gets Hungry...

Tigger: Oh, did I say I was hungry?

Pooh: I don't think so.

Tigger: Now I say it. I'm hungry.

Pooh: Not for honey, I hope.

Tigger: Honey! A pot of honey. That's what Tiggers like best.

Pooh: I was afraid of that.

Man! Thats kinda selfish don't you think?(though Tigger was being slightly annoying)

4. When Tigger asks where Rabbit went...Pooh responds "He must still be missing in the mist." Hello! Your just going to leave him there?

There are a couple other things that made Pooh seem like an unlikeable character to me, but those are just the ones that stuck out the most.

I don't know if I'm being too critical on Pooh Bear...but he just seemed a lot different then I imagined or remembered...He does seem caring and loveable character in some scenes though...but it looks like he gets annoyed quick.
That's just my thought on him...every other character seemed to be the same as always.

Well, yes - and hilarious! I love Winnie the Pooh. What annoys me is that later Pooh material is aimed at 2-year olds and oh soo cute and appropriate and not offending anyone. And boring. :)

lol well I admit, it was kinda of funny, I guess I just expected Pooh to be a lot different. Maybe I am too used to the cute appropriate unoffensive Pooh heh.

I bought this DVD this week and I recently got around to watching the film and looking through the bonus features and there's something really unusual about "A Day for Eeyore".

Okay, so the opening credits say that Jim Cummings, Tress McNeille and a number of other actors do the voices and curious to see who McNeille played (I was guessing Kanga), I went to IMDb and it was a completely different cast list. I guess it makes sense that Hal Smith voiced Pooh, because he sounded very little like Jim Cummings, but I was still rather confused. Is this a mistake on Disney's part, you think? Can they really screw up something as simple as a cast list?

In fact, this opening from the 1986 VHS has that different cast list in the credits (skip to 1:13).

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9xQoXZPbz8

I am greatly confused here.

So, nobody has any answers in regards to these odd credits? Why would Disney change the cast list?
