disneyfella wrote:last i heard, the gnome mobile would be "fullscreen" did this change?

also, what ever happened to the reports that we would get a "vaultish" style special edition release of :

the three lives of thomasina
freaky friday (original)
darby o'gill and the little people

any news on those yet?
I had heard that Gnome Mobile was going to be Widescreen but I guess that was false. I don't know about the current standing on THree Lives Of Thomasina and Freaky Friday.

Jack wrote:Song of the South really just needs to come out - its a simply charming film. This is ridiculous how long its taking just because of some tight-asses.
:? Does anyone know why[i/] this movie in its complete form has NEVER been released to the American public? I know Europe has it, so why not us? Will the people who know nothing about the existence of this film be left to think Splash Mountain and the song ZIp-a-dee-doo-dah were Disney park originals?

Anyway, what I really want to see is

~The Happiest Millionaire (b/c I want to see the rest of it)
~Mulan again (b/c I can't find it anywhere! Not even the music/video stores at the mall that don't follow the vault rule and sell it ridiculously overpriced!)
~All the unreleased Animated features
~A release of all the Animated feautes with a second disk of their cheapquels

I don't know if it "counts" or not, but there has been a 2-disc edition of Tarzan... really excellent too, if I remember correctly... lots of stuff with Glen Keane discussing the character design and animation of Tarzan.

my list...
Mulan
Rescuers and/or Rescuers Down Under
Lilo & Stitch
Keyframe - the Animation Resource ... www.keyframeonline.com
