My entire library of Disney videos and DVDs are Region 1 NTSC releases, now I want to start getting my hands on Region 2 PAL VHS tapes, along with R3, R4, R5 and R6 releases. I am not sure where to start.
For VHS: I was considering getting the PAL edition of "The Jungle Book" from the 1990s. A friend of mine from the UK said the original video of "The Undergrads" was a good suggestion.
For DVD: The Australian DVD release of "Cars" in the tin, or the French Pixar Box Set.
For all of you that live in Region 2-6, are there any other good choices out there for me to start my international VHS/DVD collection? This is a pretty open question, but I think I need some various opinions before actually selecting a video or DVD.

Well, first of all, the UK Song of the South video is an option worth taking, as it's not on DVD in any country, and not on video in America. An unedited Make Mine Music came out in the 80s for a short time, but very rarely pops up on E-Bay (a 2000s video is often there instead) and the current DVD of Melody Time is unedited.
I think there's also some old live action films not released in the US available or been made available at some point, but I know little about them. I think that a lot of the first DCOMs were made available in the early-to-mid 80s, though.

Song of the South
I am going to wait on Song on of the South. The prices on eBay are a lot for me to afford. I was recently trying to get a copy, but I was outbid several times. I think I'll wait.
Right now, I am working on the original Jungle Book video release. I need to know when that video was released, the one that has the disclaimer on the bottom "Walt Disney's Original Animated Classic". I am assuming it's from the early 1990s.
If you have the release year, please tell me what it is, thanks.
