The Little Mermaid III Discussion

I haven't heard of The Little Mermaid III until I read this thread and its 30 pages and I'm too lazy to read all of it, but I was curious so I searched Youtube to see if there were any trailers. I found this and it looks legit (as actually part of the movie) though maybe not as a trailer. Maybe you'd all want to take a look at it.

Yes these are the two trailers we all know. I just want to tell everyone, guys, if you don't have something REALLY new to present, related to TLMIII that is, please try not to post here saying things like "Hey, anything new about TLM3?" or "Why haven't they released a trailer yet?". Believe me, if I or you or any other UDmember get to know sthing about the movie it will be posted here as soon as possible. It's a shame that this topic has 31 pages from which only 6 or 7 provide true information about the film. It makes me sad (and mad) to come here everytime I see this thread coming up and realise that we're talking about the same things again and again and again and again! Now, I realise that it's a film we all are dying to see but there's no use in recycling the same stuff. Let's all try to be patient ... please!

Most likely, since it is a prequel. In my defense, I had just woken up from a dream that involved way too many Rob Paulsen characters being crowded into a Floridian apartment that had ugly yellow walls. Mm-hmm. So it seemed like a good theory at the time.

Hi there! At Little Ariel Forum, Kim Possible e-mailed to Disney DVD Department and got some information about the film trailer, the DVD release date and the re-release of 'The Little Mermaid II'!

The trailer won't be shown on Disney Channel! We will find it on an upcoming Disney DVD!

The DVD has not been scheduled for release at this time!

'The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea' will be re-release after the release of 'The Little Mermaid III'!

Why don't they release the trilogy in one boxed set?

That's a really good idea. More people would end up buying the Third movie instead of just renting it or something because they would probably want the DVD of the first movie, if not the second.

Well, I didnt mean a trilogy set. I meant how they bundled Aladdin 2 and 3. So like if there'll be a bundle set with The Little Mermaid 2 and 3.

It's a shame we wont be having the trailer soon, but I was wondering about the re-release of Little Mermaid II. Will it be like the recent UK re-release? As in identical to the first one, or a 'Special Edition' ?

i'm sure.
now to be on-topic i think everyone from the first film, except humens, will be back. the only reason i can think that Eric would be in it is that he probably asks Ariel about her mother/past and the plot starts. i would love Ursula to be in it but i doubt Morgana would since she despised Ursula. and what will Atena look like anyway. i know she will have Black, Brown, Blonde or red hair as seen by her children. well it will be a great surprise to see her. hey what if she looked just like Ariel but with a different hair color and that might be why Triton is so overprotective of her and not that much on the other sisters.

I really do feel that Athana will have the same personality / looks of Ariel, and that would exapain why Trition is so overprotective of her. BUT I'm not sure if thay will do that, as they already used that with Melody; she looked just like her mother, but had her father's hair and eyebrows. And also, Ariel gets her red hair from Triton, as shown the the TV series episode, 'Red'.

well Melody had to look like Ariel since how often do you find a child that looks nothing like the parents? but Ariel, to me, when she first became a mermaid in the sequel, looked OOC for some reason.

OOC= out of character. she just didn't look like she did as a human or as she did in the first film for some reason.
