As a VERY big Disney fan I only have 18 DVDs because I hope they will release a few SEs soon... I'm glad that I waited with the Pocahontas and Alice Discs.
I don't want to buy movies twice. I am not from the US so it is also a little difficult to get the Discs because I don't have my own creditcard...

I had the lion king, aladdin, little mermaid and tarzan on vhs but I have sold most of them and the ones I didnt sell where destroyed ( i hate vhs now!). I plan to rebuy all of these on dvd as they are released. I have fallen in love with dvd no turning back on that!

How many Disney movies do I own?
At my last count I have 70 dvd's that are Disney / Pixar / Buena Vista. We won't get into how many dvd's I actually own. LOL It's HORRIFYING to work in a video store... you end up owning way more than you ever thought you possibly would!

I've been lurking around this forum for long enough to remember that a thread like this existed.
I own 39 Disney's. 35 of them are Animated Classics and 4 are Live action movies (Tron, Mary Poppins, Bedknobs and Broomsticks and Pirates of the Caribbean).
EDIT: I forgot the 4 Pixars that I also have in my collection. That makes it 43.

You rush a miracle man, you get rotten miracles.
Darn, I wish I had posted here way back when so I could figure out how many Disney DVDs I've bought since then. I could figure it out anyways but it sure would take a while.
But anyways, right now I have seventeen.
Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl
Tuck Everlasting
The Lion King: Platinum Edition
Sleeping Beauty: Special Edition
Alice in Wonderland: Masterpiece Edition
Beauty and the Beast: Platinum Edition
Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas: Special Edition

Atlantis: The Lost Empire
Peter Pan: Special Edition

The Emperor's New Groove: Collector's Edition

Lucky you, now know the order of my DVDs on my Disney shelf! (well, except for Pirates and Tuck, which are on my non-animated shelf)

Just a quick count revealed 88/89 sets from Disney (so the actual number of DVDs is probably higher). I have an additional 13 on order at the moment. So let us say around the 100 mark.
The first time I posted in this thread (back in June) it was 43.
At this rate, I'll have 7 million by 2054.

My dad already says that I have too many (
), but here's the list:
1. Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl
2. Beauty and the Beast: Special Edition
3. Dinotopia: The Complete Series
Now technically Dinotopia isn't a "Disney DVD", but Disney presented the series, and some of the episodes (the ones that didn't air) still say "Hallmark and Disney presents:"
OH, and my sister has Uptown Girls

I'm very interested in "classic" Disney animation - both the features and the shorts and other "historic" Disney material. I'm only mildly or not at all interested in the recent sequels and "DTV" animation and I'm quite selective with Disney's live-action titles.
I've got 22 Disney DVDs, but that's only part of the picture sice I've also got 100 Disney laserdiscs. I buy Disney DVDs only when there's essential material that I don't have on LD (treasures, recent animated "classics") or real upgrades (platinum, special editions).
