I borrowed Brother Bear from the library and have it for 3 weeks. Something else that was funny. Check out Koda's outtake. Stitch shows up in that one. I really love those outtakes. Only available with DVD. Woody showed up in the outtakes in A Bug's Life.

I like how they make the animation outtakes as if it's being filmed with the outtakes and they're funny.

It's approximately 5-6 minutes into the movie and prior to the ceremony. I just watched it again and to it clear was Bambi and his mother.

My appologies for reviving this one year old thread, but I found it very interesting. However, it is an animated short so is that one counts?

Well, in Disney's animated short, "Ben and Me", the scene where a mouse was chased by the cat was SIMILIAR to Disney's Cinderella where Jaq was being chased by Lucifer. Actually, you can see the mouse hole and the broom in both films. That scene can be found only in the VHS version since the theatre version of it (21 minutes at least) is available in Walt Disney Treasures: Dinsey Rarities and Timeless Tales volume 3. Also, the extended version (which where the scene appeared in the 8-minute footage) was available in Region 2 and 4 of Disney Fables Volume 3.

Does anyone seen that?

Another one is The Old Guy who Plays Chess with himself in the Pixar short that is with Toy Story ( I think) is the same guy who sews Woody's arm back on in Toy Story 2

Fidget1234 wrote:-Oh & anyone else notice that in the Rhapsody in Blue sequence in Fantasia 2000, the sad guy who is unhappy w/ his wife really resembles Snoops from The Rescuers?
Yes...they were both charicatures of animation/Disney historian John Culhane, who used to "snoop" around the Disney studios :)

Also...I love the part in The Spongebob Squarepants Movie where King Neptune accidentally turns Mr. Krabs into a human, because he had his magic trident set to "real boy" mode ;)

Where does Belle appear in Hunchback?

She'd look pretty, but I never noticed.

Also:

~the directors who made characters of themselves in Aladdin do the same in Treasure Planet when they direct Jim where his ship is.

~Pumbaa is in the Topsy Turvy sequence

~Bambi & his mother are in The Rescuers during one of the song sequences.

~ Baccus from Fantasia is similar to the Baccus in Hercules film/tv series.

~Jafar, Aladdin, Abu, all appear in Hercules tv episode.

~Elisa and Jackal in Gargoyles have mentioned "Disneyland" a few times in the toon as references

~ Not to mention all the crossovers in the Lilo & Stitch series:
American Dragon Jake Long
Kim Possible
The Proud Family
Recess

~And in The Emperors New School- alot of the jokes are recycled from the original movie.

~ If anyone has seen Bonkers- there have been Disney characters in the show as guests.

Kind of off topic, but in The Adventures of Ichabod Crane and Mr. Toad, in the Legend of Sleepy Hollow half, I always though Katrina Van Tassel looked like Cinderella and Brom Bones looked like Gaston. I think its possible that they were used for inspiration in designing the latter characters.

Could very well be. I agree. Brom has that whole Gaston thing going on...tough, brutish, conceited guy thing going on.

Dumbo appears in Great Mouse Detective during the Toy Store scene (I believe he's the toy blowing bubbles) and I'm pretty sure those Firemen are from Pinocchio (they are the toy that Olivia sets off)

I love these little hidden details the animators slip into the movies. It's these little things that to me make disney so much more fascinating. I can't think of any more right now that haven't already been listed, but I'll keep thinking!

Oh yes - I just remembered - near the end of aladdin, when Jafar is defeated and everyone transforms back to how they originally were, slow down the dvd whilst the tiger is transforming. For one frame during the transformation, it's head changes into Mickey's head!
