Whereabouts in Canada do you live Anthony? The movie was good, I found it hard to sit through though. My Mom actually knows the guy who took over as Chief, she knows him through his sister I think it is. I was suprised to see Jason Priestly in the movie though. According to IMDB he was born in B.C guess you learn something new every day.

Just north of Toronto, Ontario.

Well I'm glad you enjoyed it overall. I'm hoping CTV will repeat it sometime during the summer.

Do you think that posting pics will help? Maybe, people will learn to recycle more by photos. I'll try to post them ASAP, I've been real busy this week. Are any of you guys going to purchase "Planet Earth"? I might, but I have to save up first.

Looks like a match made in heaven, considering that I'm a fan of Coke and won't touch Pepsi whenever possible.

I've been going back and forth on this. I really want to see it, but didn't want to blind buy it. Instead I have it on my queue on my online DVD rental site. I can't wait to see it! If I like the first couple of episodes, I'll definitely buy it!

Has anyone else seen it?

Finally Coke is doing something useful instead of poisoning people with their beverages.

I actually saw "Planet Earth" on Discovery. It was HD, it looked incredible in HD, I might buy on blu-ray.

Do you have to order the Planet Earth or Discovery Channel? Our t.v guide is completly useless right now, instead of telling you whats on all it says is "To Be Announced" on every channel, I phoned at 3pm to complain (since it's been three days now) and all I got was the answering machine, apparently the T.V station here closes really early

As a fellow Canadian, I can help you with this. Sadly, Planet Earth has not aired on Discovery Channel in Canada yet. :( I don't know why, but it hasn't. You're best bet is to either blind buy or rent it. It looks absolutely amazing!

Well I'm not sure, my uncle has hd cable and hd everything. Is that a different sort of cable? Anyhow, I don't think you have to order it, as far as I know Discovery channel should be free right? Planet earth was shot with hd equipment. I know I have said this before, but it looks magnificent in hd, completely flawless and extremely beautiful. Hopefully expiriencing the beauty of our Planet will change the hearts of many. Chernabog_Rocks, you can purchase the whole 5 dvd set at ebay for $49.99, plus shipping. Personally I think it would be money well spent, in the future I plan on purchasing it on blu-ray. I recently started school and have to money for anything else, but my books. The only bad thing is that the blu-ray version doesn't have Segouney Weaver as narrator, I simply loved her voice. If any of you guys haven't seen Planet Earth you are missing out.

While I was driving, I was listening to the radio. This guy said that a man from LA purchased wild places/landscapes to preserve them and save them from exploitation. I'm really happy about this. What concerns me is what if buying land is that easy. This guy did it with good intentions, but what if someone buys land only to drain it of all it's life? My question is, is purchasing wild places easy? Ofcourse it must be pricy, but are countries selling of their precious natural resources to anyone? If I owned a country I would never sell it's natural resources and wild places to anybody even if they offered me billions. People don't have a clue as to how vital nature is for every single beings existence, yes that includes humans. Well, kudos to the man who purchased the wild places in order to save them.

Actually, Chernabog_Rocks here in Canada you can order Planet Earth on Amazon.ca for $64.99 with free shipping (don't forget to use UD's link to support the site!). I'm assuming Beastboyravenz's quote of $49.99 was the US price.
