I come with dumb questions: region free players

Post by englishboy »

What's a decent (yet cheap) region-free DVD player that I can buy over Amazon or someplace as easily accessible?

And with region-free discs, will they play on my NTSC TV? Or am I screwed because of the PAL specs?

Anyone know?

Basically I want to get some English, French DVDs (for example, the two disc Peter Pan from France) and watch them on my standard American TV.

thanks.

Cheap Region Free DVD Player

Post by Disney Guru »

Here is a link to a pretty inxepensive one on E-Bay. I bought the same exact model from this seller last year. And this is one of the best Region free DVD PLAYER'S I have ever seen. And it doesn't cost an arm and a leg either.

Here is a link

The DVD player has to have a NTSC/Pal converter built into it if you want to see Pal movies on it. Most do have this but be carefull and do not buy any that does not specify that they do.
