I have a premonition...
That "Lilo and Stitch II" will be released on the big screen in 2004.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

I think you are right. Seems that since Disney has been releasing sequels to theatres recently, i'll bet that Lilo and Stitch 2 would be next years' sequel theatrical release. This may prove to be ok huh? Aren't the original writers of Lilo and Stitch handling this film?

Well, I think it has a lot to do with what Disney already has in the production pipeline.
I don't know how much is tentatively scheduled for theatrical release over the next 15-18 months, but I wouldn't be surprised to see this go D-T-V if it's currently an on-the-fence title. When's the last time Disney (NOT Pixar) released a sequel to the Big Screen? It just doesn't happen that often...but I'm hoping in this case your premonition proves correct!
On a side note, I saw that a Snow Dogs 2 is currently either in production or finalizing the cast for production. One source says Cuba is negotiating to reprise his role, another lists only Brian Doyle Murray thus far. Anyway, if they bring THIS film to theatres then Lilo & Stitch II should be a no-brainer.

Personally, I rellay like Lilo and Stich, but hope this is not a theatrical release. The new direction, with trying to find all of Stitch's "brotheran" is cool, for the Stitch! movie, and TV show, but I don't think they need another movie, to focus around this. I don't know if that was what they were planning, I hope not. I like all the original characters, I don't need new ones and this is one I don't think needs a sequel, besides the one it is already getting.
Personally, I hope TarzanII is next year's theatrical released sequel. Tarzan, like Peter Pan, Rescuers, ect. makes sense to have a sequel, and hopefully it will be done well. Besides, I know this is planned for next year, the Tarzan sequel, but no dvd release date has been announced, that I knoe of, like the others.

I'll go and see a Stitch sequel for sure on the big screen.
I've actually avoided the other sequels until they made their way to video, but that will be an obvious exception for me

*shudder* Tarzan & Jane was AWFUL, what with the shadows effect that constantly covered the characters. Our daughter was 2 at the time we bought it and even she hated it. To this day it remains the only Disney DVD that I have traded away.Prince Phillip wrote:

Here's hoping Tarzan II DOES get a theatrical release so the animation is what it should be.
