I definitely enjoyed the first two films (the second one better than the first), but Ice Age is not the kind of film that I would think do well as a trilogy.
They're walking a fine line, IMO.
:pan: Love It.

I'll watch. There's something about Ice Age that I like, although I have no idea what it is. I like mammoths, but that's probably not it.

Not another one! The first one was okay, but the second one was boring.

I really don't see a need for a third Ice Age. The first one was okay and the second was a bit pointless.

I'll see it. Even if the film is horrible at least we get more Scrat adventures.

I don't blame them for making a third one. I'll go see it, and cross my fingers that they come up with a great new plot twist this time.

I haven't seen either of the "Ice Age" films, so I won't see this one (they're not Disney, so I'm prejudiced).

But,

ICE AGE 3: THE DAWN OF THE DINOSAURS

Start talking about the movie............. now!
Discuss about the movie
Say how good or bad it was
Discuss how much you have a crush on Scratte

After the events of Ice Age: The Meltdown, life begins to change for Manny (Ray Romano) and his friends: Scrat is still on the hunt to hold onto his beloved acorn, while finding a possible romance in a female sabre-toothed squirrel named Scratte. Manny and his new wife Ellie (Queen Latifah) are expecting a baby, which leaves Manny anxious to ensure that everything is perfect for when his baby arrives. Diego (Denis Leary) is fed up with being treated like a house-cat and ponders the notion that he is becoming too laid-back. Sid (John Leguizamo) begins to wish for a family of his own, and so steals some dinosaur eggs which leads to Sid ending up in an underground world where dinosaurs roam free, and where his herd must rescue him, while dodging dinosaurs and facing danger left and right, and meeting up with a weasel known as Buck (Simon Pegg) who hunts dinosaurs intently.

First off, before we begin, I think you should make that picture a little bigger.

You know, I was going to post a few minutes before yakkofan did, but I didn't know if the screen popping several feet off my computer was his fault or yours.

Anyway, I've yet to see Ice Age 2. I'm kind of a passive fan of Ice Age--mostly because of Scrat. He was hilarious in the first movie. Maybe I'll watch the sequels someday. :(

I was on vacation for the last month and I go back to work in two days so I might not be able to see this movie before a couple of weeks... it's so sad because it looks really good!

I loved the first two and I'm pretty sure I will also enjoy this one! And I just bought the first two on blu-ray and got e-movie cash for Ice Age 3 so another good reason to go see this movie! :D

In most areas of the country there was a special Advanced Screenng of "Ice Age 3 Dawn of the Dinosaur" and we took two of our younger grandkids to see it.

First they make use of the Digital 3-D almost as well as "UP" did, and it was well worth the extra admission price for the glasses.

The whole gang is back, and, of course, Scrat has his hilarious misadventures with his precious acorn and the new love of his life. Ray Romano, Queen Latifah, Denis Leary and John Leguizamo are excellent and I really think this one moved a lot smoother than "Ice Age 2: The Meltdown". I know the grandkids really enjoyed it, and want to see it again.

On the Junkie-Meter of 5 stars, I will give this a very solid 3.5 stars.

I think I'll see this one, but I also feel they need to stop making more of these! Some films just don't do well being sequeled to death, and this one is on that list! I don't know if I want to see an "Ice Age 4" but would not be surprised if I did.

But I reserve judgment on this film till I see it.

Yeah, I know, I wanted to go to it

Were they the plastic ones, or the cheap cra**y paper kind. If you can, either post an image or PM me of them or just simply post a response

Well, that's good, the only thing I don't like about Scrat & Scratte is rule 32 or 36 or rule 37.[/quote]

I thought the first film was okay, but both times I tried watching the second, I fell asleep. :headshake:

I Don't think I will see this one. I tried watching the second film a few times on DVD, but I ended up getting bored with it and turned it off both times. The first film was okay, but it really was not anything special.
