but the scorpio websites puts up the 2-disc cover of pocahontas, and the posters advertised a single movie version of TLM!! arghhhhhhh i found the easter eggs on cars, but am still baffled on why they have to throw out the deleted sceens from the cars dvd. wks1979 if u look at the back of the toy storys dvd cover, they pasted a sticker on the bonus features overlapping an existing feature list and replaced it with audio commentary.im not sure what is missing as i'm content with my old toy story 2-pack. maybe ill get the 10th anniversary ones after price drop.
do you still wait for me Dream Giver?

Yeah I know about the TLM predicament. Even on earlier DVDs, they advertised TLM as having a special 2-disc edition but in reality is not true (similar to Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty!!).

I'm still not sure about the Pocahontas release though.

In Thailand, when they released Pocahontas 10th Anniversary in Region 1, we also have one released right at the same time but unfortunately, all contents in the DVD are the same as the old gold collection exactly...

OK....I've confirmed it by calling up friends in Singapore and also contacting ScorpioEast Singapore's distribution department.

They only have and are distributing the Gold collection DVD for Pocahontas. It is a single disc WITHOUT the extended version of the movie. As stated earlier, there is no R3 (or legal R6 for that matter) anniversary release for Pocahontas. Same case with TLM in Singapore. *sheesh*

The gist of their emailed reply:
*************************
The Pocahontas DVD released is the Classic Pocahontas Single Disc Edition and not the 10th Anniversary Edition.

Thank you.

Best regards
Scorpio East Entertainment Pte Ltd
Marketing Dept. (Disney)
*************************

So I guess there is only the R2/4 and R1 versions available.

Hi! winniedu77,

The news from Thailand is, Robin Hood will be released in Region 3 Thailand on the 3rd of the coming May.

No such news about The Fox and the Hound at this time but I know there will be its release soon.

1. I am sorry, but as I know, there will be no Mandarin track for the new release of Robin Hood in Thailand version.

2. I just noticed that The Most Wanted Edition of Robin Hood was released in Hong Kong on the 24th of April. Check the website like 'yesasia' to see its details.

Yesasia doesn't mention the mandarin track in the HK edition, only thai and cantonese (and english of course). I'm afraid that the HK and thai editions are the same. I think I have to take the taiwanese release.

Unfortunately, the taiwanese edition hasn't got the mandarin track. That's a pity! Isn't there a madarin dubbing for this cartoon?
Are there any taiwanese fans in this forum?

For Region 3 Disney fan, on the 7th of June, Thailand will have 'Dumbo Big Top Edition' and 'The Fox and the Hound 25th Anniversary Edition' and 'The Fox and the Hound 2' on shelf. :)

This is the first version of Dumbo DVD available in Thailand with Thai sound and subtitle.

Can you tell me if they will have slip case?
Have Thai editions got generally slip cases?
Because it seems that thai editions are cheaper than HK editions for the same containing. if so, I'll buy it from ethaicd.
