Howdy gang,
I was hoping that someone could tell me how to get screen captures from DVD's to post on here.
I love the various posts that compare various releases with specific examples.
Are there specific programs to use?
I finally got a DVD player for my computer and there are a few things that I want to do.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Have you purchased it, or are you using the limited feature trial version? Also, which version of it are you using? I have both WinDVD 5 and WinDVD 7 Platinum on my computer. The system came with WinDVD 5 but I purchased an upgrade to 7 and it didn't get rid of 5. Intervideo has released version 8 now, both Gold and Platinum versions.
OK, I found out how to do on Intervideo's website, under product support:
If that doesn't work for you, try DVDGenie, which is freeware and will allow you to "fix" WinDVD so you can make screen captures. How do I use capture?
You can capture a still image during movie playback. Press the P key at any time to capture a BMP file of the current frame. Capture does not work on zoomed regions and on some hardware motion compensation graphics chips. If you are experiencing problems with capture, disable the hardware motion compensation and try capturing again.
Captured images are stored in the Capture subdirectory of the WinDVD directory on your hard drive. Captured files are numbered sequentially: cap001.bmp, cap002.bmp, and so on.
