Disney Characters in a Coke Commercial

Post by musicradio77 »

I found this one from RJ and it's a commercial for Coca-Cola featuring the Disney characters. This was during the 1988 holiday season when Coke promoted the Disney videos.

Interesting find, Musicradio77! I found it weird that the videotape had no name on it.

This was a cute commercial.

Since we are on the subject of classic Disney commercials, I found these two on You Tube:

Tinker Bell on a Peter Pan Peanut butter commercial

Jell-O commercial featuring Alice and the Chesire cat

Both are narrated by Sterling Holloway.

Those comments on YouTube were right: The Jell-o ad is like an ad for LSD or something!

Great find though. All 3 are cool.

"Are you the smile on my Jell-O?"

No wonder I've been tired lately. I need to eat more Jell-O for ENERGY!

Classic 50s commercial at its finest!

Don't forget:
Cheerios commercial with Donald Duck and the Cheerios Kid

And let's not forget a whole bunch of '50s car commercials, featuring bizarre UPA-esque versions of the Disney characters:
'55 Nash Rambler (with Mickey and Pluto)
2nd '55 Nash Rambler (with Brer Rabbit, Brer Fox and Brer Bear!)
3rd '55 Nash Rambler (with Jiminy Cricket)
Hudson (with Donald and Huey, Dewey and Louie)

What a cool commercial. It seems a little familiar to me, I think I vaguely remember it.

Ummmm - what exactly were the Disney marketing people smoking in the 70's? That "Do they know the way" ad is beyond weird.

Love the hair in "There's more".
