I received a replacement disc for True-Life Adventures, Volume 1 - Disc 1 today and Prowler of the Everglades IS corrected.

I did not send in my original or anything, though an enclosed letter asked me to (and I will). You can see the corrected screenshot
here

On the backside of the inner ring of the original (defective) disc, it reads:

310037 L0 (L4422) TLA-ON-NM1.1 01

The corrected disc reads:

(318536) TLA-ON-NM1.2 2

now i am concerned about my replacement for vol 4. I called and reported problems with both vol 1 and vol 4 a few months ago. I got a padded envelope from BVHE today and it only contained a replacement for vol 1 in it. is my vol 4 still on the way or have i been forgotten?

Okay, today I got a letter from BVHE for a replacement. On the letter it says, "Please send this form along with the DVD in its case to......" Does that mean I have to send in my tin, or just the disc, or what? And shouldn't I have gotten two forms for both Vol. 1 and Vol. 4? I'm not exactly sure what to do so any help would be grateful. Thanks.

You only need to send in the discs themselves (as that is all that has been sent to you). You can put both volumes on the single form (a BVHE rep just told me this on the phone).

I just called and for some reason one of my replacements was not entered correctly, but now it is in the mail.

WDHE sure has some of the best customer service I have ever encountered...definitely the friendliest reps.

What is the reported problem with the Pluto tins?

Well these dang threads here get so long, I am not sure where along the line it was mentioned, but one of our forum members says he has returned Pluto twice and that there was a defect in the disc "a hole in the enamel" I seem to recall him saying... but there's no recall and apparently no one else here claims to have had the same experience. I've opened that tin and my discs look perfect to me. Since there's been no other complaints at the UD forum, except from the one person about Pluto, I am inclined to think maybe he just had some bad luck. I would look at your discs and see if you can find a "hole" or some type of scratch and if not, assume you have a good set. Disney has not recalled Pluto, so there must be few to no complaints.

I haven't received any replacement discs, just the letter to have them replaced. So, I should only need to send Disc 1 of Vol. 1 and Disc 2 (I think I can't remember) of Vol. 4? And then I will receive the replacements of these discs?

Well, that doesn't seem to be a "system error" such as an authoring mishap would be - but rather just a singular occurence, even if it happened more than once...

That was me who got a Pluto with a hole in the enamel. It was only one time. I thought there was a content issue now too.

Interesting thing I noticed having 2 Pluto setsgo through my hands. On the first set the enamel was a solid smooth surface. On the second set the plastic ring is visib;e. I checked my other Treasures from over the years and this varies. Weird, huh?

I live in Europe and received the replacement discs for Volume 1 and Volume 4 yesterday.
Good news, I guess, for those outside the US who were afraid they wouldnt be able to get them.

Well the replacements have also reached me in the UK. But just the discs, nothing else, no letter, no return envelope, just a large padded jiffy bag with the discs inside.

Is this the same for other non-US residents?

My replacement TLA disc has arrived, been checked out, and is good to go. I filled out the form and put the defective disc back in the mail today (just in the paper sleeve the new disc came in...for whoever was worried about having to send back the entire package). Return postage, too! Yes, WDHE has good customer service.

Yes, I got them today too! :o
Fantastic! Not even a week since I put my name on their lists.
And no return-envelope with the discs, so I suppose they don´t demand of us outside of the US to send the defective discs back.

Were we supposed to get the replacement discs before we sent the defected ones back? Because I never received replacement discs, and have already mailed the others back to them. Shouldn't I still receive the other discs?

Has anyone in Canada received their discs yet? I haven't.

I have a question about the TLA DVDs. Do the various titles show either the RKO or the original Buena Vista Distribution title cards? I find that classic Buena Vista Distribution graphic to be remarkably comforting.

It looks like they are doing it both ways, maybe depending upon when you called in. If you were just sent one of those return forms in a regular envelope then you need to send your faulty discs in first. If you received the replacement discs in a padded envelope with the return form, then they are hoping you will honor the exchange and send your faulty discs back with the prepaid label provided. Perhaps people with a more detailed history in their system got the honor method. If they don't send their bad discs back though, I suspect it will be the last time Disney sends them the replacements first.

It is disc 1 of both volumes. They are only mailing replacement discs, so don't send back any packaging.
