Besides, I know in the past I'd reference a list of five names of a specific gender on UD. The names often change according to my feelings, but one name usually was constant through every change. If people know where to look, they'll find it.

Also, I've referred to some people as "Hottie McHotHots", if that can help with the search...

I know, it's hardly a big deal. But I think the fact that I'm *not* saying any names (aside from already pointing out two) is making some people *want* to know (thus making it somewhat of a big deal), even though it's nothing earth-shattering and is quite a useless bit of information anyway. It's fun holding that over a few UDers' heads.blackcauldron85 wrote:It's not like we're posting people at school or work that we like (of course, unless we work in Hollywood...), so I don't see what the big deal is!

How about instead of me acknowledging who I crush, people post who they think I crush on, and I'll post later saying who's right and who's wrong. That way it's more of a game, with no prize except possibly a "That's it? That's who Escapay has/had crushes on?"

I never had a real big crush on a celebrity, but when I saw Waldemar Torenstra (a Dutch actor) in Ja Zuster Nee Zuster (released as Yes Nurse, No Nurse in the US) I felt something.
Here are some photo's of him in Ja Zuster, Nee Zuster:

And here some other photo's of him:

He really is a good looking guy. And he's not just an empty head. He's a very good actor. And I can enjoy him every week in Grijpstra & De Gier, a Dutch TV series.

Disney's musical Tarzan. Coming to Holland 2007.
OMG, I'd forgotten all about her. I had the biggest crush on her when I was in high school. I watched that show whenever I had the chance and even taped a few episodes just so I could watch her over and over again.slave2moonlight wrote: I was very into Mouseketeer Brandy Brown during the days of the '90s Mickey Mouse Club.
A few others I've liked over the years include...
Candace Cameron
Danielle Fishel
Audrey Hepburn (Best movie actress ever)
Current fave: Alyson Hannigan
Ah, so you like the smarter girls! Right, okay...............I guess I can see the hotness in them.Chernabog_Rocks wrote:You mean these Hottie McHotHot's? (8th post down)

If you go back to page one and read my all-time crush you will understand this posting.
Last week, Linda Ronstadt came to Wichita, Kansas to appear at the grand opening of the Historic Fox Theater in Hutchison, Kansas (about 45 minutes away). I found out about my luck about three days in advance, so I gathered all my Linda paraphenalia into a little baggie, actually what it was was the 40 ticket stubs from the 40 concerts that I attended in my past years.
On Friday night when I arrived at the airport I was greeted by her manager, John Boylen, and we talked for a few minutes, and I told him that I would like to express to Miss Ronstadt my love for her music, and the fact that I had this huge crush on her. He said, why not, it will probably make her day.
After setting up the dummy limousine (they put two other people in it to fool any groupies that might have been at the airport) John brought Linda and her hairdresser to the van and we all got in and headed for the short 10 minute ride to the hotel. Along the way I started talking with her, and showed her the 40 ticket stubs, she was very impressed. John then urged me on with my story, and I told her that I had this major crush on her for the 37 years of my marriage and maybe then some. She laughed and asked how my wife felt about it, and I told her she understood, but I couldn't get her to wear the Linda Ronstadt mask to bed at night. That broke everything wide open. We had a marvelous conversation, and when we got to the hotel, and I helped her out of the van, she stood on the portable step and kissed me on the cheek, and said, "It is nice to meet a true fan!".
To put everything in perspective, I called my wife minutes later and told her what happened. I said something like - "She kissed me on the cheek and I am not going to wash my face for a month!" - to which my wife said bery plainly "What's been your excuse for the past 36 years." She has this subtle way of making everything seem to irrelevant.
But that is my total story about my love for Linda Ronstadt.

I usually try to avoid celebrity crushes and just enjoy the films and TV shows that I like... in the same way I avoid supposed "entertainment" shows (eg. ET, etc.) that are in no way about the entertainment industry but instead a disgusting display of sordid (or twisted to appear as sordid) personal lives, ludicrous invasions of privacy and sickening displays of wasted wealth.
However, I couldn't seem to help haivng a crush on Kirsten Dunst back after first watching Drop Dead Gorgeous. She was just so adorable in that movie.

Wow, that's a really interesting story Bill, I'd die of shock if I ever met a celebrity, even if it was someone from the Disney Channel or something. That's such a great incident, if Heath Ledger ever spoke to me, or anything, I'd vomit, but you were so calm and collected, that's great. And she kissed you, that's something. Great story.

I have washed my face, and no I don't have a beard. Since I am part American-Indian, I don't shave very often, usually once a week. Hair growth on my face is not a problem. My wife tells everyone that I have been shaving for two years - and cut myself both times...............LOL.
It was definitely a dream come true, and something that I will remember for a long time.
And for Lazario - Linda Ronstadt was one of the premier female-rockers back in the 70's and then she did three big-band albums, and yes, a lot of her music had country overtones. Her very first recorded hit was "Different Drum" written by Mike Nesmith (The Monkees) and she was with a band called The Stone Poneys. Later she broke off on her own and formed her own rock and roll band which just happened to have a drummer named Glenn Frey, who later left Linda to form The Eagles. She has recorded music with Emmy Lou Harris and Dolly Parton, and though I wouldn't classify her as a country singer, there are some pretty deep roots there.
