Hello everyone! For some reason I really want to write a revisionist story of something, but I don't know which to write about. So, can you help me? I kinda would like a list of the most famous novels, that were probably turned into a film. Thanks to everyone who could help.

Thanks for all of the suggestions guys! I'm still not sure which one, though I would have to read the novel/novels for further research. I'll update if/when I come up with something. Right now, I'm reading "Wicked" and "The Hobbit" so I really don't have the time, but when I'm finished with one/both, I might pick up something.
