I agree. I think that what happened with Tarzan (SE, not the CE) and now Aristocats will happen to Lilo. Sorry guys, but I just don't think it will happen for a LONG while.Flanger-Hanger wrote:I'll believe it when I see itEscapay wrote: Lilo & Stitch: Special Edition - coming one of these days

Well I still have somewhat of Hope for the Aristocats since a BVHE-Rep posted Aristocats to be a 2-disc since they are putting it back until spring 2008 rather than just release a bare bones 2-disc by this summer. This way Disney won't be rushed to find stuff... But boy they better start digging in that vault for good stuff for Aristocats if they want to make a 2-discbrotherbear wrote:I agree. Anyway I sure hope that 2-disc Lilo & stitch comes out... Perhaps it will come out in 2008 right before or after Aristocats in 2008 (Hopeful for 2-disc Edition)

For the Platinums, it's been posted on the forums before: Clickety-Clickpotterrules93 wrote:escapy..where did u get dates for some of the forthcoming titles..like pinochio(SP??) and such..just wondering

And BVHE-Rep let us know about Aristocats, while my Fantasia date is entirely speculative.
UD's Platinum Edition section on "Release Types Explained" has speculation that is the same schedule as the image, but with Snow White in the October 2008 slot and Beauty and the Beast in the October 2009 slot.

The cycle is allegedly supposed to restart again in 2008 (which many believed would see a re-release of Snow White), but with the news that Sleeping Beauty could possibly be the October 2008 Platinum, it may have been pushed back a year.PeterPanfan wrote:Escapy,do the Platinum Editions get released back out of the Disney Vault?

Hmm... so Atlantis and Brother Bear Region 1 are still in print...eh? This means I should import them from the US ... as I still don't have them - and akhenaten has convinced me to buy the Pinocchio Region 2 edition. After all, the Platinum is still 2 years away.
PS: Do Atlantis and BB still come in slipcovers? I'm not a slipcover maniac or anything, but it would be nice if they still print them. I doubt it though. Do you guys think I could get Atlantis and BB Region 1 through play.com international (the US sister site)?

No, they do not come with slipcovers because they never had slipcovers to begin with.Julian Carter wrote:PS: Do Atlantis and BB still come in slipcovers?
