Thanks for letting us know. I just ran downstairs and started recording the Disneyland one. I missed the first 20 minutes, but oh well. I also want to see the Undiscovered Disney World and Disney Cruise Line ones. I've seen the others. I love Travel Channel for their Disney days!
I'm currently watching and reviewing every Disney film in chronological order. You can follow along at my blog, The Disney Films, and also follow me on Twitter.

OTHER WDW PROGRAMS

Post by Prince Charming 12 »

The Travel Channel does have some good Disney programs. Around the holidays they show one hosted by Samatha Brown, which chronicles her journey through all the parks, selected resorts, and some behind the scences areas during the Christmas season. It was filmed in 2003 so it's a little dated, but very enjoyable to watch. Don't panic when they fail to show the Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights (at Disney-MGM), because it was not available that year. That was during the construction of Lights, Motors, Action!.

Another good program, which is on dvd from 2005, was part of the Modern Marvels series on the History Channel titled "Walt Disney World".

I got the DVD of the History Channel program on WDW. It was pretty cheap at deepdiscountdvd.com.

I love those specials, I recorded them all onto DVDs Sunday. Its cool to get to see some of the behind the scenes stuff but in some ways I really don't want to know everything about how WDW works. Its nice sometimes not knowing and just going there to enjoy the magic, ya know? That's why I never took the Keys to the Kingdom tour. I DID take the behind the scenes at Animal Kingdom tour and it really only made me appreciate that park much more. All the work that goes on that makes that place happen is amazing!

One last thing...who doesn't love Smanatha Brown? She is so much fun to watch on those shows! We were laughing so hard on the one Great Hotels episode she did... I can't remember which one but it was on Sunday.

This was some great stuff (though I was only able to watch it on and off, and had seen some of it before). I wish this was all available in a DVD set, ha. I need to get a DVD recorder!

I read somewhere that they are being repeated on the 12th, so you have until then!

Ha, I won't be getting a DVD Recorder that soon, but I will eventually, and they do these Disney Days from time to time. They're just hard to catch though. Food Network does them too, I think.

Food Network

Post by Prince Charming 12 »

I have seen two so far from the Food Network, but maybe there are more. They just ran one over the holidays, produced in 2005, that shows how they feed the masses and all the neat candy creations for Christmas. It was hosted by Raven, who is not my favorite celeb, but it was still interesting despite her "over done" performance (pun intended).
