This group pic actually reminds me of a slumber party pic I almost did once of the Sailor Moon girls. I even had sketched it out onto a large illustration board. Never actually did it though. This looks good. Perhaps I'll do that one soon, or a large version of this! Got more Disney girls to do still though. Looking for suggestions for Jasmine, Snow White, Mulan, Eilonwy, Alice, and various others. Of course, I'm most likely to use girls who are in my dreamgirl gallery on my My Space page if I can see them in the role. I think I will be doing Reese Witherspoon as Katrina Van Tassel (using a pre-Legally Blonde pic. She got too skinny from the face before making that movie and ever since then). And, like I said, I think I'll be using Danielle Panabaker as Slue Foot Sue. I'd like to find a role for her sis, Kay, though. Possibly Wendy... Snow White will probably be Monica Keena (who has played Snow White before) or Christina Ricci, but I'm still open to other ideas. I seem to remember coming up with a part for Jennifer Love Hewitt, but I can't remember it now. I was thinking Rachel Hurd Wood as Tarzan's Jane, and I know Elisabeth Harnois will be either Alice or Eilonwy.
It looks great.
Who is Katrina Van Tassel, what movie? Same with Slue Foot Sue? Thanks. Again it looks great.
I really like the group pic. For Snow White, have you considdered Kirsten Kruek from "Smallville"? It would be kind of funny because she played Snow White in the Hallmark film a few years ago. Although she does seem a little too tall and thin. I would say Christina Ricci would make a good one, as well as Marion Raven, who I proposed to you earlier. She naturally has black hair, so it would be more fitting for her to be Snow White than Ariel.
If you ever do Pocahontas, might I suggest Tia Carrera or Hoku? Both are Hawaiian, but can pass for Native American.
I know you are set on Elisabeth Harnois to probably play Alice, and that is very fitting. But Alexz Johnson would make a good candidate for Alice or Elonwy as well.
For Wendy, I would personally use Marit Larsen. Her hair is much like Wendy's and it would be fitting if you used her and Marion Raven because they used to be in a band together.
I feel like a casting agent now. lol.

I really like how you put all the pictures on there, it helps me to see who these people are.
Well, I'm off to Oklahoma tomorrow to see my little sister's junior concert, and my niece is having her 4th birthday party over there too. I'll resume the art when I get back, and hopefully finally do some of the requested stuff too (I've had requests from other websites as well...). Also, I'll research these girls a little more when I get back, because a couple I've never heard of.
Of course, I do know Kristin Kreuk, who ranks fairly high on my dreamgirl list, ha, but I don't think I'd cast her as Disney's Cinderella. However, I DO want to use her. I don't know if I'd buy her as Mulan. I mean, could Kristin pass for a boy? Ha, probably not. Still, I might use her in that role. OR, I might use her as Jasmine. I think that might workout pretty well, even though I'd prefer to use folks who are of the same ethnicity as the characters. I really don't know of any girls who would match Jasmine in that regard though, so I really might go with Kristin. Suggestions for Jas would be welcomed though, and suggestions for Kristin.
Monica Keena, the girl I'm most likely to choose for Snow White, has played her before too (Snow White: A Tale of Terror, awesome movie!). Christina Ricci would be a good choice too though. But, I wonder if I could find another character for her... With Tia Carrere being the voice of Nani and Hawaiian (I was surprised to discover that, back when Lilo and Stitch came out), I would be most likely to use her for Nani, even though she really doesn't look the part. I'm not way into Tia though, never have been. Not sure I'd use her at all. Oh, I think she's cool and all, love some of her work, I just never found her attractive. Of course, I go more for blondes and redheads, and when it comes to brunettes, I'm extremely picky (though some I ADORE).
Oh, if you look at the various princess pics, I've changed them a bit. I've added some blush to them all. I think it really improves them. Okay, well, that's all for now. Gotta get ready to hit the road.
PS: Something else that might be helpful would be if anyone can remember any other Disney girls I might use. I'm primarily thinking of Heroines at the moment. Oh, I was thinking of Jennifer Love Hewitt as Megara, by the way. Though, I admit that I haven't thought too hard on it. It just came into my mind briefly.
Ones I currently plan to do:
Eilonwy
Snow White
Jasmine
Alice: Elisabeth Harnois (?)
Slue Foot Sue: Danielle Panabaker
Wendy
Katrina Van Tassel: Reese Witherspoon (?)
Mulan
Jane
Kim Possible: Lindsay Lohan
And might do (though many of these probably not, like the little kid characters that I might get bored drawing or exhausted trying to cast, ha):
Pan's Mermaids
Jessica Rabbit
Pocahontas
Kida (though I don't like her that much)
Blue Fairy
Shanti
Wendy's daughter Jane
the Bimbettes
Nani and Lilo
Penny from the Rescuers
Jenny from Oliver and Co.
Basically, if you can think of any other cute/attractive/important or obscure Disney girls that I have left out, please drop me a reminder. As for casting ideas, while my main source will be my dreamgirl gallery on my My Space page, as I've said, I'm open to other suggestions. Plus, there are a few girls I haven't added to that gallery but have been considering adding, like Mandy Moore, Danielle Fishel, and the married, blonde daughter from that "Reba" sitcom, ha. And, there are a few girls I will be adding in due time, like Emma Watson, Rachel Hurd Wood, and Kay Panabaker. So, all those girls I want to strongly consider for characters as well.

Don't forget the three harem girls from Aladdin. Are the three harem girls from the "One Jump" scene or the "Friend Like Me" scene?

Wendy next, riiight?
Ha, possibly. It's hard to say. I definitely would like to do Wendy, but it just depends on how I feel. And, since our computer chair just broke in a way that I can no longer lean back in it, I'm definitely not going to be coming online as much as usual. Actually, I'm getting off to watch Peter Pan in a couple minutes, ha. I'm just going to post a the group pic at my gallery first, with Snow White added. http://www.slave2moonlight.deviantart.com
By the way, as I explain with the black and white version of Snow at my gallery, I originally drew this with a different actress as Snow. In the end though, I decided my first choice was better, and drew Monica Keena's face and used Photoshop to place it over the original and blend it so I wouldn't have to draw the body all over again, ha.
I'm currently watching and reviewing every Disney film in chronological order. You can follow along at my blog, The Disney Films, and also follow me on Twitter.
I first drew this pic with Camilla Belle as Snow White. She was the star of the "When a Stranger Calls" remake. She also starred in a Disney Channel surfing movie back in the day, though I forget the title... "Rip Girls" maybe?
I had seen a photo of her (which I used) online that really puts one in mind of Snow White. And, she does make a good Snow White, she just didn't come across as the "Disney" Snow White to me once the pic was done. She's got a slightly trimmer physique than Monica Keena, but I think using the same body still works, and it still looks like Monica.
Okay, ha, got no participation in the Mulan thread, but I think I AM going to use the girl who plays Cho in Harry Potter. I have three planned out already as most likely definite.
Mulan - Cho from Harry Potter (sorry, forgot her name. It's Katie something)
Wendy - Kay Panabaker
Alice - Elisabeth Harnois
I will consider Tia Carerre (sp?) as Pocahontas, but I will also look into her voice actress. I remember her being a cutie, but they usually don't look enough like the female characters. I hope to find someone for Jasmine soon, though I am leaning towards Kristin Kreuk. Unfortunately, I'm having to stray from ethnicity accuracy.
That's great. I never thought of MP as an animated series, but I probably would have watched it if it was made when I was little. I used to watch a "Wizard of Oz" animated series. I especially like Andrew in your picture.

Ha, including Andrew was a last minute decision. I actually had a hard time finding a reference pic of him online. I ended up having to use a clip on YouTube. I also almost put in a toon Penguin. I felt the pic had enough though, but I think a Penguin sidekick would work well in a series too.
Very nice Mary Poppins picture! It really pops out at you! Get it? Pops, Poppins? Yea, it also reminds me a little of popular culture and pop-art. It's a very cool stylization, and I can't believe you just "whipped that up"! My favorite is the dog, he looks so good with the cool textures, but his expression is so funny!
Yet another dreamgirl of mine, Elisabeth Harnois from "My Date with the President's Daughter," "One Magic Christmas," and "Adventures in Wonderland" as Alice.
