o.k. i'm going to answer part of my own question, just in case anyone else was wondering the same thing. now, maybe this has already been discussed a while ago (i tried to search the threads and make sure i'm not repeating something that someone else has said........i've been out of town for a while
).
Merlin Jones will be presented in an aspect ratio of 1.33:1 (which may very well be its original ration......it was made for t.v. and then Walt just decided to release it to theaters (a la Shaggy Dog/ Davy Crockett). the interesting thing, is the special features:
Merlin Jones image collection
Disney Inventor's; a video gallery
what the crap is the video gallery? i'm excited that we are at least getting some features on these old catalog titles. maybe disney got sick of me calling in complaining about their treatment on dvd......ha ha ha
by the way, it has a dolby digital MONO track on it.....they must not have upgraded it to 5.1.........huh.....who' da thought that?

Midnight Madness

I sure do hope that they are in Widescreen Edition. I dought it though because they rarely do that.

Does anyone know yet if there will be English subtitles or close captions on Midnight Madness and Return to Oz?Full specs have finally come in for the remainder of next week's catalogue releases. Midnight Madness and Bon Voyage! will both unfortunately be presented in 1.33:1 formatted 'fullscreen' only. Return to Oz is not enhanced for 16x9 televisions, but is presented in 1.85:1 widescreen, and as previously stated, will port over the extras from Anchor Bay's out-of-print DVD release.
Or will they be missing just like with the Anchor Bay releases?

English Subtitles

There is a high chance that it will have English Subtitles. Since most of the movies do have Subtitles. I heard that it will probablly have both English and Spanish Subtitles.
