One time I called, and they wouldn't replace them because they weren't "damaged." Does that even matter? They should be happy that Disney is a humongojungo world dictator and should give away slipcovers. Then again, dictator's would probably tell his/her men to kill everyone. Let's hope that Disney won't do that. Truely, Disney is taking over the world, along with Spanish-speaking people and Mormons.

Woody: Oh, yeah? Well, good riddance, ya loony!

yes, you will need to send the damaged cover in order for them to send you replacements. I haven't never been able to get "free" slipcover from Disney before.Disney_Fanatic91 wrote:and do they want you to send them the damaged slipcover in order for them to replace it??
disneystarsfan: I have an extra Lady and The Tramp - 50th Anniversary Platinum Edition slipcover. There are some smudges on the top silver edge where the "Platinum Edition" text is. Let me know if you're interested

I called and spoke to a woman and simply told her that I ordered two DVD's from DMC and they both didn't come with a slipcover. She explained that I only get 5 slipcovers for my life and to be sure those are the ones I wanted. Than she went on to place my order, they arrived the following week. No questions asked.
I hope that helps!

That makes me mad!!! I only wanted two slipcovers, in which the DVDs didn't come with them, and the lady, Bonnie by name, wouldn't let me have them!! Maybe it's because you ordered your copies from the DMC? I don't know, one of these days I might call again and see if someones there, as long as it's not Bonnie!Lil' Pixie wrote:I called and spoke to a woman and simply told her that I ordered two DVD's from DMC and they both didn't come with a slipcover. Hmm...maybe she was having a bad day. This woman was kind of snotty also but I was just firm with her, I told her what I wanted, end of story. She was fine with it.... hmmm.... I would just try again and hope to get someone else. I am about to call and get a cover for Chronicles of Narnia (which I did not buy from DMC)..when I call I'll let you know what happens.

I hate to be the one to tell you this, but it's pretty well known that Disney has essentially "run out" of BatB slipcovers. The chances are around 0% that you will get a Beauty and the Beast slipcover from Disney. (Apparently, MANY people bought copies w/o slipcovers because those that appeared with them were around for such a short amount of time. So many people later on decided they wanted the covers, and begged Disney for one. And also that this was the first Disney DVD to get a slipcover, so many stores just threw them away, unknowningly that it might add value or interest to buyers. Now, they are all gone).DisneyFreak5282 wrote:Well, here are my reasons, tell me if/what you think I should REALLY say:
1. The Lion King - Never came with one.
2. Beauty and the Beast - Never came with one.
3. Aladdin - Never came with one.
Well, I don't think they'll give 'em to me if I just say THAT!
But chances are REALLY good that they would have Aladdin, and it's a possibility that they would have TLK. (I'm saying that because the TLK has been OOP for a little over 2 years now, and I don't know how many extra slipcovers of the set Disney might still have).
Good luck!

2? I think you meant 3. I would find it to be very difficult to find a copy with a slipcover, or find a slipcover for it. I would think that they wouldn't have it, IMO.brotherbear wrote:(I'm saying that because the TLK has been OOP for a little over 2 years now, and I don't know how many extra slipcovers of the set Disney might still have).
