that cardboard slipcover thingie from a region 1 beauty and the beast platinum dvd ...
amazon failed to ship one with my copy and i'm not waiting another year ... oK ... *no need to hear whole life story* ... i'm willing to negotiate ... *couGh*
I think she means the cardboard cover thac came surrounding the dvd, just like The Lion King and Sleeping Beauty, the one that opens like a book and briefly describes the entire contents of the DVD.

True, I found several for the Lion King on-line and they were covered with stickers that when you would pull them out, they would leave the white stuff and ruin the entire thing...
or instead ... could someone in the states pop down to the shops and grab me a copy (make sure the cardboard slipcover is there) and send it over (international) ? i'll pay for all expenses or we could work something out
I don't know how easy it will be to find a copy on store shelves here. It shouldn't be impossible, but many stores may not have it in stock anymore. I'm no help...can anyone else help michelle?
The Disney Store. Ours had no less than 40 (FORTY) copies of Beauty and the Beast, all with the slipcovers. I also saw a couple copies at a Borders Bookstore as well, although they were $25.99 US as opposed to the $19.99 US at The Disney Store.
So ... if you have either of those chains near you in Sydney I'd stop in ASAP and see if thay have any inventory.
Now is there anyone out there who can possibly buy a copy for me and we can work out a trade or some way for me to pay for the expenses?
The problem here is that there are like one or two Disney stores around ... although that wouldn't matter because they don't come with slipcases over here
