I agree. I'd rather nothing involved with that travesty of a sequel were involved in this [hopefully] decent prequel. The only thing I liked about Morgana was her voice, and that was just carried over from Ursula. Along with the glowing bubble, the twin henchman and her ultimate motivation. The only reason why I'm halfway kind on the movie is because it is a sequel to my favorite. If the Morgana/Ursula being in the same movie rumor is true, then I will not rent this, as it sounds like a disaster, though I should not say that as the official story has not been announced yet.

Listening to most often lately:

haha...it looks like it was deleted, but it was really just moved to a different location because now it says...pasito_4 wrote:In http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Little_Mermaid_III

"Pat Carroll - Ursula & Morgana"
not that i'm trying to say that i really want Morgana to be in it, but I just wanted to point that out...

Dreaming is the start of everything...
I think it'd be interesting to show Ursula and Morgana's sibling dysfunction.

Jut found a tiny bit of news on TLM III, from the Little Ariel forum! They are always on top of the info there, all the time! Here it is anyway:
Most of Mermaid III, the last hand-drawn direct-to-video feature on the books, has been shipped to Toon City.
At Disney Toons, they wait for the remodel of the second floor of the Sonora Building, the final shipment of scenes for Little Mermaid III, overseas, the next turn in development of the long-gestating Tinkerbell. Division top-kick Sharon Morrill announces to staff that the DVD sales of Fox and the Hound II exceeded company expectations by 25%.
So it seems TLMIII is finished, and they are now shipping it? Anywho, I still cant wait! Its getting closer and closer!

Me too
but I'm tired of them saying this is the last DTV feature (I know that's not exactly what this source is saying, but a lot have). It, like was stated above, is the last one planned so far; Enchanted, Rapunzel or Frog Princess could all have sequels (since they belong to a DCP line), and there's been talk of a Meet the Robinsons sequel, although that breaks the product line rule.
BACK TO TLMIII: hopefully we get some screens soon. Maybe even temporary cover art?

I believe it's already been confirmed that there will be a sequel to Enchanted, right?Fantasmic wrote:Me toobut I'm tired of them saying this is the last DTV feature (I know that's not exactly what this source is saying, but a lot have). Aparently it's being considered (of course, it all depends on box office performance for the first film), if not in pre-production. I hope that they don't outsource the animation if they do do a sequel, and that it's entirely animated.Poody wrote:I believe it's already been confirmed that there will be a sequel to Enchanted, right?Fantasmic wrote:Me toobut I'm tired of them saying this is the last DTV feature (I know that's not exactly what this source is saying, but a lot have). and by the way-from what sence was your avater? i don't remember her crying.
The avatar scene is from when Wendy has to walk the plank, and she cries briefly before she jumps. i just love that scene, and it always get me a bit when she says goodbye to all the children.

Poody, do you by any chance happen to have a larger version of that sig? Care to post a link? I really like it. I was going to PM you regarding it, but it wouldn't let me for some reason

My guess is that it'll be opposite. Mostly animated with some live action. But who knows....Fantasmic wrote: Aparently it's being considered (of course, it all depends on box office performance for the first film), if not in pre-production. Anyway, yeah here's the original siggy:

Well, that's what my original thought was, but unless it's a theatrical release, I can't see it being live action. My impression was that a sequel would be DTV, but on second thought, based on how Jim Hill put it, it probably will go to the big screen first. So if that's the case, i think will be mostly live-action, but if it's DTV, I think it'll be fully animated.Poody wrote:My guess is that it'll be opposite. Mostly animated with some live action.
