Two princesses on one poster?!! That'd be war! The princesses know that they're stars, and which of them would like to be on the poster of a newcomer?atlanticaunderthesea wrote:The only thing is I feel, is that the choice of Dismey characters in the 3rd poster are rather odd' they are all animals / puppets, and no princes or princesses. Very odd, in my opinion.

I'd bet 10 bucks Jasmine would kick Giselle's ***!Dottie wrote:Two princesses on one poster?!! That'd be war! The princesses know that they're stars, and which of them would like to be on the poster of a newcomer?
seriously though, the concept of the film is Amy Adams confusion when none of the animals in NYC talk back to her. These Disney characters do talk back.
It does make you wonder if maybe there actually are some Disney cameos? Cinderella mice? Sebastian? would be cool.

True, how could I have not thought of that!

I can see the images. It seems like a lot of people are having a problem seeing them, so I will post them again, this time from photobucket. Let me know if you can see them.

I know that these are mock-ups, but I hate the first one. It looks so 80's. I really like the "Walt Disney Pictures Wickedly Presents" banner on the other two. I think I like the layout of the magic mirror one the best. It looks like an omage to Snow White. I also love the Disney Characters, but Lilo & Stitch already had that add campaign. If they are going to do Disney characters, I'd like to see a cross between the second and third posters.

Lol, that's just what I was thinking about the first one! Maybe it's an effort to remind people that this movie is going to be like the old 90s Disney animated movies?goofystitch wrote:I know that these are mock-ups, but I hate the first one. My favorite is the second one. I hope they use that one because as you said, it's like an homage to Snow White. It also reminds me of the old book covers for the Narnia books. The last one is cool, but it doesn't make much sense to me. Maybe that's one of the little jokes in the movie, but not enough to merit a whole poster for it.
Thanks for posting the poster art! I can't wait for this film!!!

Pictures from Disney's Enchanted
I can see the pictures! Thank you so much goofystitch!
Personally, I think the Disney caharcter add campaign could be viewed as different from the Lilo and Stitch one because it was about a new character added to the family. But if they decided to use only "princess" animals, like Gus and Jaq, the owl that danced with Aurora, etc., then it could be a campaign about welcoming a new princess, not just a new character. But it could also have all "fairy tale" characters in it, such as Pinocchio and Aurora's fairies.
My favorite, like everyone else, is probably the second one. But I do like the third one a lot, because it's different and unique! Did anyone notice that one of Giselle's slippers is glowing and sparkling? The slipper also looks transparent, and it fractures light, like it's made of glass! I wonder if it will have anything to do with the plot.
Yea, but these could be the characters from her animated world of Andalasia, where the animals talk. I know they're in the "real world" New York in the poster, but they could have entered the world just like Giselle. Besides, they do a lot of things that throw sense out the window for the sake of a good poster!PatrickvD wrote:seriously though, the concept of the film is Amy Adams confusion when none of the animals in NYC talk back to her. Ha ha ha! He does look like he gained some weight. Maybe this is depressed Bambi after his mother's death. A part we never saw in the first film. Maybe Bambi got fat after Bambi II, but before he met up with Faline again. lol.also, is it me or is Bambi kinda havin' a fat day in that sketch![]()

okay so I was thinking,
who wants to bet that if this film makes more than say, $150 million, it will be on Broadway in 3 years time.
The "Walt Disney Wickedly Presents" part kinda gave that away. You know, Idina Menzel, "wicked", Alan Menken, Stephen Schwartz...
it'll be on broadway.
and you heard it here first.

Enchanted posters.
Yeah, I like the Magic Mirror poster, along with the Disney Poster too, but Lilo and Stitch owns that ad campiagn, cause it was highly successful due to Stitch intrupting the classic moments of Beauty and the Beast, Lion King, now I can understand if they wanted to do a poster featuring the animated verisons of Enchanted while blending the old school Disney too, then it's okay but mixing live/animated in one pic is kinda hard to take in. At least they're rough drafts.

I think the second poster's the best because it contains the most characters (that actually appear in the film). I just hope it's done in the painted style of the first one and not in the photoshop style of most modern posters. I actually love the 80s style of the first one, but maybe it's because I prefer those to modern ones. I don't care much for the third one, though. The composition's kind of off-kilter, and having classic characters there is kind of misleading.

I was actually thinking the same thing, especially with Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz on hand. But.... how will they play out the aminated scenes?PatrickvD wrote:okay so I was thinking,

Can anyone else see the images, and is it just me? Mariadny, do you need to fix the images? If it's not just me, and the images aren't working anymore, did anyone save the images and can repost them?
