Parade of Dreams show stop question

I have a question about the Parade of Dreams show stops. Do they randomly stop at any given location, or do they have specific stops.

I would personally like to see the Alice in Wonderland show stop. Where do you suggest I stand if I want to catch that specific stop.

They have set locations. I have seen the Alice in Wonderland float when I was watching the parade from that pathway next to Sleeping Beauty Castle that leads to the Matterhorn. I was closer to the Matterhorn.
