The Walt Disney Company's best early-March release?

Post by Luke »

Disney seems to like releasing a live-action movie on either the 9th or 10th weekend of the year. In recent years, they've often been a comedy, usually one which gets bad reviews but does a fair amount of box office business, typically opening at #1. What's the best one of these otherwise-unrelated movies from the past 17 years?

Please entertain me in a short break from site work. :)

I voted Bringing Down the House. No matter how goofy it is, I always laugh. Though Wild Hogs is becoming a close second.

I liked The Pacifier...I couldn't vote on Wild Hogs because I haven't seen it yet, though the previews look hilarious and all 4 of the men were a riot on Oprah.

I voted Hidalgo!

Great movie! It's a shame it didn't do well financially. It's better than all three Lord of the Rings films combined I say.

While it is nowhere in the class of the Lord of the Rings movies

Hidalgo edges out Krippendorf's Tribe. Not much else there though.

I voted for "Jungle 2 Jungle". I haven't seen a bunch of movies on that list, but I've always enjoyed "Jungle 2 Jungle".
