I normally can not stand it when movies are released in cardboard containers as opposed to the clamshell cases. but wow those french dvd cases are breathtakeing, i wouldnt mind a cardboard container if disney hard region 1 artwork like those.

Those were all I could find, but I'm sure that there are more. Not sure what my favourite one is though. Might say the Platinum, but its very dull; it should have more life!
You forgot this one:

It's the UK Collector's Edition. It's the best looking one, I think.

Don't forget my International Packaging Images thread.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

And don't forget the beautiful UK Narnia large wardrobe box (ok it's not a Disney Classic, but awesome package)

All these images are wicked, thanks for posting everyone!

I've looked, but I can't find the un-used images from the Cinderella Platinum edition. There were five of them, and all alternate versions of the front cover. Did anyone save them? As they would be good to post here.

Just what I was thinking! But I found them!

Personally, I wish that they replaced Cinderella and the Prince dancing on the final cover we got with the artwork of Cinderella transforming at the bottom of the 2nd cover. It's small there, but of course they'd make it bigger and we'd see that Cinderella is the star, not the Prince. Also, we'd see her face. And also, it's the best part of the movie!

Imagine a much better-looking version of this:

I totally agree Disney Duster, I LOVE the cover you created. Thats more like something I was expecting, rather than The Prince cover. Why did they use that version of the platinum cover? WHY?!?!?!?

 Well, the secne of the two dancing is a really famous one, used almost all the time, so I'm guessing your complaints are more about the fact that we can't see Cinderella's face? I've heard time and time again that Cinderella is one of the hardest characters to draw, probably because she's not very stylized. It's easier to draw exaggerations, you know? However, the Prince isn't exaggerated either, and he hardly ever looks right in illustrations, so...

Possibly, they could have thought that Cinderella needed more promotion aimed at men, so they featured a man prominantly on the cover and had an ESPN Cinderella Stories Feature?

And I'm glad you liked my idea for the cover. I think more people would have liked it that way. But I heard that all five of those covers I posted were in a poll and people voted for the one they liked most!

Thanks for these, DisneyDuster! I saw them a few months ago, but I couldn't find the thread they were in. I never liked the promotional pics for the PE of Cinderella (and images 2, 3, and 4), because I think Cindy's face looks like a mans...IMHO.
