Nick@Nite's Roseanne Marathon, beginning basically with the episode where Becky asks Roseanne for birth control. Ending... all over the place.

I just watched this Thursday's Never Mind the Buzzcocks. I cannot believe how the introduction of Simon Amstell as host has totally turned this show around 180 degrees.

This was without a doubt the funniest half-hour of my life this year to date. Everything was hilarious. I was eating my dinner as I watched this, and I literally spat it out over the floor I had to laugh so much.

God knows how wasted Simon was on his T4 Popword nonsense, but I honestly think he could be the funniest man in Britain. If not now, then in a few years certainly.

Now, if only Have I Got News For You? could learn from Buzzcocks and settle down and get a decent regular host.

The Swamp Fox: Birth of the Swamp Fox

It's pretty good for being about 50. Can't say that I enjoy history films, but it was okay

Buffy, the Vampire Slayer - Episodes 701, 702 -- Lessons, Beneath You

Off to a strong start. I particularly loved both ending scenes of these episodes. It was so nice seeing Glory again! :D

Life on Mars 2.1

Series 2 Trailer 1 - Back in the Nick of Time

Well, what can I say - a very strong opening for the second and final series. The whole crux of the plot of this episode was to convince us that Sam's "time traveling" was a result of him being in a coma in the "real world", with somebody with a grudge torturing Sam's comatose body in the 2000's, which affected his perceptions and health in the 1970's. But... ah... but the final phone call where Sam is able to talk back to the mysterious voices (and trace the call) indicate that Sam's ability to "time travel" is something more complex than a coma induced fantasy. (Not that I ever thought it was, as it would be far to obvious, given all the massive evidence we were drip fed over S1)

But the episode was more than just being something written just so the final two minutes could pull a rug from under the viewer and spin his views around 180 degrees, thematically both Sam and Gene made 180 degree turns too. For once, Sam wanted to convict somebody without evidence, and Gene wanted to go "by the book". It appears both characters are starting to influence the other.

Confused? Allow Wikipedia to help.

My Peanuts DVD Box arrived today, so I watched the complete first season of "The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show ".
I remember watching the Peanuts all the time when I was a kid, so this brings back memories.

Last night it was "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader" and "Shark". Two of the best shows on Thursday night. (Yes, better than Fugly Betty and Grey's).

I was watching some of Fox News' coverage of the story of the Virginia Tech shooting. But... too many commercials.

Full House - Jesse & Rebecca want privacy but Michelle keeps barging into their room, Danny dates a younger woman

Saved by the Bell - Zack writes love letters to Lisa that Miss Bliss thinks are from Mr. Belding, Zack and Mikey invest Miss Bliss's money in the stock market

Boy Meets World (I must have been hit on the head repeatedly, but, I digress) - Sean wants to use his teacher's apartment to make out with a girl

Sabrina the Teenage Witch - Sabrina casts a "Childhood Dream Fulfillment" spell, Sabrina goes to live with her father in Paris France

Crossing Jordan (most of it) - Thugs kidnap and deal to buy plutonium and new office girl gets kidnapped

Ellen (not all of any of these, but some/most) - Ellen goes to Spiritual Retreat, Ellen's parents get back together, Ellen's religious Grandmother comes to stay with her, Ellen thinks a deaf hunk has a crush on her instead of Audrey

Seinfeld (not all of, but some) - Elaine is upset because a mannequin in a lingerie store looks just like her

Fairly Odd Parents - Timmy wishes to be a grown-up and goes to jail for picking on the school bully

That 70's Show - Red and Bob take the boys up to Bob's cabin in the woods to hunt / the women play cards, someone stole Eric's $60 from his Candyland game box

King of the Hill - Peggy lets an archeology professor dig up Hank's lawn, Bobby enters a plus-sized fashion show

Mo'Nique's Charm School (some of) - the first episode. Rain / Thela is eliminated

"I Love New York: The Reunion" (a little of) - Mr. Boston and Pumkin reveal themelves to be a couple

I Love New York - New York hosts a male beauty pageant

Janice Dickinson's Modeling Agency (some of) - a picky, bitchy client is not happy with the model she chose

Fresh Prince of Bel-Air - Carlton and Will are shot-at at an ATM, William Shatner is a guest on Hillary's last show in California, Will and Carlton try to get into an all-black fraternity

Mtv's TRL (some of) - Rose McGowan talks about Grindhouse

Mad TV (some of) - Deer Zapper

Daria - "Arts 'N Crass," "The Daria Hunter," "Monster," and "I Don't"

The last thing I watched was last night's Anderson Cooper 360. Coverage of the Virginia Tech Massacre and of the recordings that the killer made.

Tonight's (April 19) edition of "Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader?" was great, and the contestant dropped out after winning $500,000. But they played the Million Dollar Question anyway just to see if he knew it and he did. The question: Who was the United States first Secretary of the Treasury?

How many of you know the answer?
