I've only been on the Anaheim one personally - will do a comparison next year - I know of a few differences.

Firstly, it is in Liberty Square and not New Orleans Square, and has a more Gothic facade than the plantation house feel of the Disneyland one.

According to this excellent resource: "The Magic Kingdom contains a few extra scenes (the hallway of paintings with eyes that follow you, the library, passing through the tomb with Little Leota on the ledge)."

It has a very in-depth comparison between the two rides.

ive only been to the wdw one but i have heard the main difference is the sequence and the scenes mentioned above...also the mansion is very well themed along with liberty square...its kind of tucked away in the back of the park...and the queue and before u get on the ride scenes are scarier than the actual ride...

DL has been updated mor erecently--ie the Bride and leota's ball floats now (I don't think it does in WDW yet)

in the great Haunted Mansion book that came out when the awful film did they compare in depth all four mansions--(Tokyo's is a clone of Florida's) and in Anaheim the stretch room brings you down--because you actually go udnergorund and outside of the train/berm for the actual ride--then when youleave theres the hall youw alk thru with the changing portraits and the busts--in Florida the ceiling of the stretch room gros but you don't sink--and when you exit the room you load your vehicles IMMEDIATELY--so much of the hall you walked thru in Anaheim is now incorporated into the ride (the busts that watch you--and the changing pictures are instead replaced by one changing picture in the entry of the Florida castle)

Some of DL's changing portraits are included in WDW's ride, not as changers ('cause you've long since boarded your Doom Buggy by then), but with the eyes supposedly following you in true haunted house fashion.
