treasures only after signing up???

Post by QueenRahel »

i am a bout to sign up for dmc, but have not yet due to a few burning questions...i have heard they have disney treasures and other great dvds to offer, but on the main page when you can get 3 for 1.99 and one for 14.95 to count for the five you have to buy for the contract...on the list to choose these are no where to be seen, and is that because you have just whats offered b/c the price is so low, at 1.99 and these are 30...when i sign up will these be there to buy after my initial purchase along iwth many others???...or is what disney.com, dmc, initially offers b/c of the good deal and that is it...sorry to be confusing its hard to describe my question...i just mainly want to be sure that after i sign up with the deal i will able to buy the treasures there to count toward my contract, even though i cant find them on the list the website has

When you sign up, you can get virtually any DVD offered through the club that is not a.) a season set b.) a gift set and c.) a Treasure. The reason is price. These items cost more than the standard $21.99 DMC price. However, once you join and have access to the site and catalogue, you are able to buy them and they count towards your agreement. Also, I would deffinatley buy the 4th DVD at half price that now counts towards the agreement. It didn't count when I joined, so I didn't take them up on the offer, but it is a better deal.

"so lets say i buy all five at once thats required...do i still get offers and coupons and such for two years??? "

as long as your a member of the DMC you will always get offers & coupons, but once you become a V.I.P (you become a vip once you buy 5 titles) the offers get a whole lot better...aka 50% off sale, buy 1 get one free... and so on.

"and then when two years is up i buy 5 more then???"

once you buy those 5 titles you will never have to buy another one again

They only carry Platinum Editions that are in print. So you can buy "Cinderella," "Aladdin," "The Little Mermaid," and "Peter Pan" will be made available around May. However, you won't find anything like "The Lion King," or even recently discontinued titles such as "Lady and the Tramp" and "Bambi." When titles go back into the vault, they usually dissapear from the club as well.

It's a good plan but be careful when doing that, if the DMC finds out, they will cancel your membership, plus if you didn't buy all the title necessary to complete your membership you will be charge the remaining fee and you will get nothing. They get really pissed off when people do that.

They will have a warehouse somewhere but I doubt it is in Orlando, normally they are inthe north or west coast, and depending on shipping method I would give it a minimum of 2 weeks, they can take 5-6 weeks
