And because of Alice in Wonderland, right?Disneykid wrote:I was torn bwteen Groups B and F, but went with B because it resonates with me a bit more since the first three films in that group were some of the first Disney films I ever saw.

I was also torn between group B and Group F. I love Peter Pan and Lady and the Tramp; but I also love TLM and BatB. I ended up voting for Group F because of TLM, it was and still is my favorite.
Groups G, H, and I are most likely my least favorite, I have not seen them all...but I prefer the classics.

I voted for F, but heres my overall ranking:
Group F: The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King
Group C: Sleeping Beauty, 101 Dalmatians, The Jungle Book, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
Group B: Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Lady and the Tramp Group E: The Fox and the Hound, The Black Cauldron, The Great Mouse Detective, Oliver and Company
Group A: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, Fantasia, Bambi Group G: Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules, Mulan
Group D: The Sword in the Stone, The Aristocats, Robin Hood, The Rescuers
Group H: Tarzan, Fantasia 2000, The Emperor's New Groove, Atlantis: The Lost Empire
Group I: Lilo and Stitch, Treasure Planet, Brother Bear, Home on the Range
I think that about sums it up.

Favorite Disney Movie Groups
I just realized! Some rather good and rather important films are missing from the groups! Dumbo or The Rescuers Down Under, anyone? I guess the creator of this poll could only fit four into each group to make things even...? And only chose what they felt were the most noteoworthy?

What else but the REAL fab four, group A?
The only period with absolutely perfect films, and the golden age of all animation to boot. I include 'Dumbo' in this group, of course, making it the fab five. The period of the best quality, as well.
Personally, for me, that would be followed by:
Group B (very beautiful films in this period)
Group D ('Sieze the fat one!'),
Group C ('Blast this wretched, wretched pen! Arrgh!')
Group F (Batb and Aladdin are great!)
Group H (Rhapsody in Blue. Need more be said? Yzma and Kronk.)
Group G (love the varying styles at this point, and Hercules is one of my favourites, but this is where the films begin conforming to the ideology set by F)
Group E (though I think these are all great films!)
Group I (I've only seen one of these films)

Like Disneykid I was stuck between B and F, B mainly because of Alice and Peter but I voted for F since I grew up watching those in the theater and each of those are in my favorite's.

I chose Group E. Maybe it's because I was born in the '80s. I love all Disney movies, but these 4 definitely hold a place in my heart. They all have such different stories, with some amazingly great characters. TBC doesn't have music (well, not the vocal kind), and TF&tH is my least favorite soundtrack (besides the "Fantasia" films & "Atlantis" & TBC- I like to sing in the car!), the music in TGMD & O&C is some of my all-time favorite Disney music. I think that the characters and stories more than make up for the music in TF&tH and TBC. And, how could I not vote for Group E- Gurgi is in that group, and he's my all-time favorite Disney character.
