Well the thing about Mickey is he's like the mascot for Disney so he's going to be everywhere no matter what, one thing I miss is seeing him in his Sorcerors Apprentice outfit at the beginning of Disney shows/movies and the words Walt Disney come out of his hand as Disney Dust and spell it out..........I hope everyone knows what I'm talking about   Anyways back on track....Daisy, Horace and Clarabelle are the least used of the Main Gang, which is too bad I think. I DEFINATELY agree with Jay about Jafar, I've never cared for him too much.

Pooh and Gang are the most overrated characters except forTigger, can never get two much Tigger.
I also agree that Mickey and the gang are not overrated. without them there would be no Disney. They could never be overrated.

Clara Cluck is the least used! She seems to have been booted right out of the gang! It was so wrong that she wasn't singing in that opera scene in the otherwise excellent Three Musketeers. That would have made it perfect! I would love to see more of classic characters like Horace, Clarabelle, and Clara. At least Horace and Clarabelle came back with House of Mouse. Clarabelle has been seeing a lot of action these days, actually, since she had a big role in the Three Musketeers. Daisy's workload has improved too, and I'm glad, because I've always felt she was underrated, and she's a fave of mine. I wish they'd make more movies, even if only direct to video, featuring Mickey and the gang and including those characters (and the Duck Family, much of which has hardly been used in animation!).

I'm going to be controversial and suggest exactly the opposite. Maybe it's just me, but I find Daisy highly resistable, primarily because of her frequent moments of complete unreasonableness. Donald certainly can be provocative sometimes, but he rarely deserves the treatment he gets at her hands.

Anyway, as noted, Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow are still totally underrated - especially Horace, who hasn't quite managed to enjoy the same renaissance that Clarabelle has in recent years. His omission from Three Musketeers is inexcusable! (End of mock-angry rant)

A few years ago I might have included Pluto as over-rated, but since reviewing his career through the Treasures, I'm learning to love the dumb old mutt.

I know it's not a character, but I find The Old Mill terribly over-rated.

I agree that Mickey and the Gang aren't overrated - certainly not at the moment, anyhow, in which I'd even go so far as to argue that they're underrated (Mickey himself excepted, of course). I'm basing this largely on what I see whenever I walk into a Disney Store, which are usually so crammed full of Winnie the Pooh and Disney Princess merchandise that it's a wonder they haven't yet their name to the Winnie the Pooh and Friends Store. The original Disney short characters, given their significance to the entire Disney realm, seem to be curiously overshadowed, with Donald, Goofy, et al getting stuck with whatever scant shelf space is left over.

There still seems to be a large amount of Mickey merchandise available, but I don't find this quite as baffling as I do Winnie the Pooh, given that he is, after all, the most iconic Disney creation, and the entire foundation, more or less, upon which the company was based. If I'll be totally honest, I don't believe that Mickey is really that great a character - his popularlity seems to be based more upon his iconicity than his individual strengths as a character, but then iconicity is a powerful thing. The current paucity of merchandise bearing the likeness of his pals, however, is a real shame.

WE DEMAND MORE DONALD!!! :P

Goodness. I hope you're joking. Belle's uninteresting -pretty, but uninteresting- appearance has nothing to do with Ariel's gorgeous blue eyes and her long, fluffy, vibrant red hair. And of course Jasmine beats her too as she's got those magnificent, big dark eyes, the long black hair, the chocolate skin and the sexy outfits. But, as you've already said, this is JUST a personal opinion. And I respect yours, I just cannot agree with it.

Well I wasn't trying to offend anyone and I like Mickey and the gang but I would like it if Disney was more diverse in their advertising. I mean Disney uses the same characters over again the princesses, Micey & Co., and Pooh & Co. I like Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Pluto alot but I would like them to show more diveresty. Cinderella, Aroura and Tinkerbell merchandise is all over the place. They should change it from Disney Princesse to Disney Heroines. Snow White, Aroura, Jasmine and Ariel are really the only real princesses of the bunch. Cindy and Belle become princesses when married and I don't know hoe Tinkerbell(who I find annoying) came into the mix. Where are Pocahantas, Mulan and Esmerelda. Even the villains shown are always the same. Maleficent, Jafar, Cruella, Captian Hook. Where is Lady Tremaine, Madame Medusa, Shere Kahn and Ratigan. My two favorite villans are The Queen and Scar I usually don't see them alot.

So sorry if I offended anyone(I didn't mean to be controverisal) but I was just giving my opinions. :)

Not kidding at all, even though Ariel and Tink are my top two faves. Belle is a stunning beauty as well, with her glossy lips, rosy cheeks, and big brown eyes. Jasmine is hot, but she's lower on my list. I'm more into the pinkish pale types and other shades of hair. I just find that hotter, maybe because I live in a community where it is more exotic than what is normally considered exotic. Black hair and tan skin are commonplace where I live, and it takes an exceptional beauty with those attributes to catch my eye. Plus, Jasmine has to be drawn just right. Only in the original film is she truly beautiful. Those eyebrows must be tricky, not to mention the other features of her face. No, for me it's Ariel and Tink, followed extremely closely by Belle, Kim Possible. I don't find Belle dull or uninteresting at all. Her desire to read, to me, is just a way of her expressing her desire for real adventure, and yet I get the impression she could appreciate snuggling by the fire on a snowy night too. I also dig her voice, though not as much as Ariel's (and Ariel is a better singer for sure).

Tinkerbell... I mean I love her but Come On... shes everywhere!
Snow White... I pretty much despise her
Stitch

Six months ago I would have said Tigger, but now that I have a cat by that name ( he came with it.) I really cant say that! Hah, however I usually end up calling him Tiglet, since hes a mixture of Tigger and Piglet. Meaning hes got Tigger's name but Piglets personality.

He's scared of Life.

Well,i think it's TinkerBell,Marie,Mickey,Stitch and Pooh.
Timon and Pumbaa-like Widdi said-they're lame and have pathetic jokes, all they do is farting and barping,TLK has much better characters then them.

TinkerBell is cute and i like her.

From the Disney Villans i think it's Malifecent,The Queen,Jafar,Ursula and Hades.

Disney Princess-Cinderella and Ariel are overrated,Cinderella is the franchise's icon and Ariel got too much overrated after TLM was realesed on PE,Aurora is getting overrated and Belle is getting less overrated and is replaced by Ariel and Jasmine in everything.
by the way-i hate it that they think only little girl like those movies, now people those movie are for little girls only and it's worng and stupit,in fact-all those little girls never saw those films, and that too bad beacouse it's those favorite movies and characters and even my favorite franchise.

i don't understand why people like Marie! she's Snobish little kitten who think she's a beauty queen,i can't stand her,i think O'maly need to get a franchise insted.

Mickey Mouse-expet Mickey Mouse Clubhouse he became a simble of macho-there's cell phone wallpapers and stuff for school of him making hot dogs, playing soccor and football and even boxing! this is disgusting and make me sick, small children shouldn't learn how to grow up quickley!.

Winnie the Pooh is cute but his world and personality isn't intersting as other charachters, also he too has a cell phone wallpapers and stuff for school that he's playing football and boxing.

Pixar-Cars,Finding Nemo,Toy Story and The Incredibles are the most overrated films, but about Finding nemo-Nemo and Dory are the most overrated,i like Dory but i think it's not faire that they allways showing that Nemo is the film's hero,he's not a hero! he's just got kidnapt and everyone are saving him,it's even not starting with him,Marlin is the real hero of the film, and Dory is also a hero,Nemo is just getting kidnapt and everyone need to save him,Marlin, who is the real hero is only know as "Nemo's dad",Nemo is getting and he gets all of the spotlight!.

I think Tinkerbell is one of the most overrated characters. She's everywhere! I guess she is a good marketing item but well... I prefered her when she was a bit more unknown. ;)

Mickey Mouse, I don't know why he is so synomynous, he keeps springing up on people's minds whenever someone talks about the Disney brand.
But I guess he is a likable character, just not my favourite. Same applies to Tink ! :P

Yeah Mickey drives me crazy. I just hate him. Just a goodie-goodie and nothing else. Yeah, I know all this stuff :everything started with a mouse, the company's trademark, Walt was his voice etc. You know what??? Bull****!!!!!! WHO CARES? He's as boring as a cartoon character can be! Donald should take his place!!! Donald RULES!! :P

As Caballero Girl wrote, WE DEMAND MORE DONALD!!!
And DAISY I might add!
