Susie the Little Blue Coupe on DVD?

Post by FantasiaMan »

Sorry to bring this useless tripe to these boards, but has "Susie" been released on any DVD's at all?

I guess that the cartoon "Susie, the Little Blue Coupe" was originally in the Public Domain and it was on previous VHS releases like "Donald Duck and Friends" with the cartoons "The Spirit of '43" and "Hooked Bear" as well as "Play Safe" not a Disney cartoon, it was a cartoon by Max and Dave Fleischer. "Susie" was later featured on "It's a Small World of Fun - Vol. 2" and also on one of the Bazooka Classic Bubble Toons DVD's featuring the same cartoon along with the other PD cartoons.

"Susie" is also available on the Special Edition 2-disc version of "The Love Bug".

It depends on where you're standing. The UK edition of Ichabod & Mr Toad doesn't have it - instead it has two identical versions of Lonesome Ghosts.

I also own it on Brentwood Home Video's Ultimate Cartoon Collection Vol. 2 DVD. It's a budget release my mom bought for $1 at the grocery store once with lots of PD cartoons - Susie being one of them. It was in pretty good shape, but you could tell their source was from a fairly soft VHS copy.
