The Little Mermaid III Discussion
Maybe the full trailer is airing in JUNE because in June "The Little Mermaid"
will air on the Disney Channel for the first time ever or something?
I thought LMIII would be Ariel telling a story to Melody. Melody would not appear, but it'd be like she has trouble sleeping so Ariel tells her a story with flashbacks.

Disney Channel died when they stopped airing movies with Haley mills (Parent Trap and Pollyanna) and fun adventure movies like Swiss Family Robinson. R.I.P. the REAL Disney Channel. Date of Death: When the shows became teenie bopperish.
Yeah that would be pretty cool, Disney Channel probably will do something like that. In June the trailer? Thats kind of far away. Im guessing TLM III will be released around the same time CIII was released, hopefully soon. Like November soon lol.
Haha I remember the few times they would air any Disney movie on Disney Channel, I'd watch them anyways even though I already had the movies. Hmm if I can recall I think they've aired The Little Mermaid twice already, this time it will be the restored version I guess.

He's not that bad actually. He sings several times in "The Brady Bunch Movie" and "A Very Brady Sequel" in which he plays Greg Brady.Old Fish Tale wrote:I believe he can't sing! I think he does sing in cindy 3. i mean, not a solo, but i think he sings in "perfectly perfect year", near to the end when everyone sings together...but its barely noticeable i guess lol
i just wish prince eric would have sung =/ oh well...maybe in the 3d remake of mermaid, 10 years from now? or a film version of the broadway musical, 10, 15 years from now IF it is succesful? lol

Prince Charming Sings!
But he did sing in Cinderella III: A Twist In Time...just a little bit....a very little bit...in fact he just sang, "What could ever come between us?" in unison with Cinderella. But he sang it.Old Fish Tale wrote:I believe he can't sing! People who are wondering about release dates, and plot points, its all been written in this topic before. Just look back a bit.
Just to answer a few qus on this page:
Its going to be released on November 20th, 2007.
Melody is not in it, as Tara Strong has stated so on her Myspace page. It is a prequal, and Ariel's sisters feature as well.
There was a story board kindly shown to us by Disney Duster that leads us to believe that this one might be a prequal to the second movie, but just after the first, making it a midqual.
As I said, just look back a bit!

Actually, I was surprised that it wasn't on TV in December because Cinderella was on Disney Channel in December, 2005 and Mary Poppins was on December, 2004. But I think Disney Channel would do something like thisKyle wrote:I can see them airing both the original mermaid as well as the little mermaid 2, and follow up with the trailer for the third movie, all on a Friday night or something. maybe even a few episodes of the series tossed in for good measure.
(commercial format)
This Friday night Disney Channel is hosting it's night of premieres with....
Hannah Montana! Hannah Montana is in a pickle when she accidentaly gets caught in a mermaid suit!
The Suite Life of Zack and Cody! Maddie get discovered singing Under the Sea and gets whisked away to Hollywood. But Zack isn't happy. Find out how he makes her stay!
Cory in the House! Cory and Meena go to a beach! You want believe what'll happens (show picture of them about to kiss)!
Then, see a sneak peek for The Little Mermaid! Afterwards, watch The Little Mermaid 3! Starts Friday 6:30 5:30 central!

The Little Mermaid III
Thanks...Super Aurora wrote:Out goes DisneyDuster, and in come xxhplinkxx.
And then, an honest thanks to atlanticaunderthesea for keeping her head about this and pointing out not only that everyone needs to read what's been posted before, but that I did in fact contribute to this thread, and am excited for this sequel!
By the way, atlanticaunderthesea, I know this is late in the game since we've been friends for a while on UD, but you are a girl, right? I'm really sorry if your not, but I just am going off your avatars and stuff...
And even if Christopher Daniel Barnes could not sing himself, he could just be the speaking voice while someone else was the singing voice. In the original Cinderella, Prince Charming, as small as his part was, had a seperate singing and speaking voice. So he could have sung more in Cinderella III, which I wish he did, because "Perfectly Perfect" rushed everything by a little too quickly for me!

And I agree compleatly; everyone, instead of asking questions, read back through the thread, and you will almost certainly find an answer. And also, itss no good asking for info on the plot points as no one really knows anything, apart from the odd bit of info here and there.

Super Aurora wrote:well now that Cindy 3 is out, look like Ultimate Disney new focus is now going to shift it's full attention on Little Mermaid 3 now.
can't get enough mermaids now.
Went from full attention of platinum edition Little mermaid to Cindy 3 and now back to Mermaid for the third instalment.
Out goes DisneyDuster, and in come xxhplinkxx.

Oh man! This made me laugh so hard I cried! lol Although I hardly think one could compare me and The Little Mermaid to DisneyDuster and Cinderella.
Unless I'm wrong.

Well maybe Prince Eric won't be in TLM III he was never in the t.v show, and well since it's a prequel....NAH of course he will be in TLM III
...I hope...haha same goes for Ursula.
I think Triton's hate towards humans was just the fact that they catch fish and pollute his water. Perhaps there was an incident involving a mermaid that really ticked him off.
Hmm I cant seem to get out of the block that this movie might be before the first movie. Well Im going by what I've seen in the musical trailer, showcasing a young Ariel and young Flounder.

he will be. since someone posted story board of Eric and Ariel on the ship. It's seems to be the begining of the movie kinda like Ariel telling Eric her past or something.

TLM II was beautiful, until Eric opened his mouth period. CD Barnes not being his voice just completely ruined it for me. The same will probably go for TLM IIIdisneystarsfan wrote:TLM 2 was good until prince eric started singing(which was horrible!) out of nowhere
