I'm sure it's just because of my whack-out family, but Grandpa on LMS reminded me of my mom's dad so much.

Also- What is the big deal with Pan's Labryinth? I thought it was good, but no way is it even near my top 25, let alone top 10. It was too bizarre for me, and usually I love GdT.

Roger, PLEASE COME BACK SOON. Please.

Cheers,

Escapay and his humor.

BTW, was chatting with Leo a couple nights ago at the SAG Awards. We were joking about how he got a supporting nom for The Departed in SAG Awards while that same role got him a lead nom at the Golden Globes. Crazy, huh? We had a good laugh over that before he realized I'm not part of the Guild, nor was I assigned to sit at his table. It took him awhile to recognize it was me, and for a second I thought I'd have to be escorted away by security. But he let me sit at the table the rest of the night, since he didn't want to cause a spectacle. Besides, I think he's getting used to having a stalker not be that crazy around him. I tried to negotiate with him the terms of sending himself to Massachusetts, even just for a day. But he's just too busy so I gave up after an hour of pleading. The rest of the night, we ended up having a spirited conversation about the wonders of pesto sauce and I gave him my recipe for Tuscany Bread. Best of all, Leo was nice enough to get rid of the restraining order and said I can stalk him for you once a month, schedule permitting.

This, in essence, is why I am in love with Escapay.

You know, actually, I could go for some Italian food right now. ;)

Does anyone know when Letters From Iwo Jima will be getting an expansion? Right now and through next week, it's only in three theaters within 100 miles of here, and the closest one is an hour away.

Of all the movies on Roeper's list, I think I've only seen one (Little Miss Sunshine.)

I am starting to wonder if Roger Ebert will ever return to reviewing movies.
