Old news, soldier. He means the Gold Collection version's been recently put on moratorium.

Interestingly I was sent a flyer to join the Disney DVD club today and Hercules is one of the titles offered.

I'm not sure if he means that a special edition was offered or the GC one. Don't get too excited yet, seamus.

Reading this thread is making me want to go rent Hunchback! I haven't seen that movie in YEARS!!!

Hercules on the other hand I just haven't seen in months, it was on "Movie Time Monday" on Playhouse Disney a while ago. It's such a good movie and I would love a proper 2-disc release.
But the thing that makes Woody special, is he'll never give up on you... ever. He'll be there for you, no matter what.

Both Hunchback and Hercules are fantastic movies! Both have fantastic music, and pretty good animation. Unfortunatley, Disney hasn't released them yet (I know, I know, everyone knows that on this thread) on a 2-discer. We're waiting, Disney, we're waiting.

thee thing about these, is that, if they don't release them now that they are so close to their 10th anniversary, why would they do it afret that??? it would be perfect timing......and doesn't disney give us at the very least6 months heads up??? but then again disney is very unprdictible

I doubt we'll get a 2 disc Hunchback since it's past the 10 year mark. I'll be surprised if we get a 2 disc Herc either. But soimetimes 2 discers come at odd times. Mulan got one on an off year. We still haven't got Lilo & Stitch. Maybehat will come on it's 10 year anniversary. Sigh....

Very correct. Let us not forget, Disney is a fickle lover.

Are you guys sure that the aristocats is being re-released in March? They havent given us much warning & i don't want to get my hopes up for nothing. Also ive heard rumors that the Lion King series is being re-released soon, do you know anything about that?
(These are probably stupid questions but i just started collecting after i lost all of my vhs)
