As soon as I saw that picture, I instantly thought of you! Because, as you know, you were the first to notice, and post screen shots of it.

Hmmm...so does that mean you actually went into the Cinderella III Spoiler Thread? Because I was positive you wouldn't go in there just out of fear of getting everything ruined in the first post!

Also, I go to Animated-News everyday and I was just wondering why the heck they don't say they have an interview with Frank Nissen on the front page. They've posted interviews from other places before! And since Animated-Views is new, they need to alert people to it for a while, me thinks. Thank God you posted the interview or I would have missed it!

It's not a song. In the transition of the painting credits (they show a painting, then some credits, a painting again, etc.) to the scrolling credits they show a brief piece that shows Lady Tremaine and Drizella as a toad landing in the basement of their house and turning back into humans with a broom in their hand and a maid outfit like Cinderella had You probably get what's intented by that...

Yes, I've seen the film. It's great!

Oh and kurtadisneyite, Tinkerbell is being done in India (at least, it was... I don't know where they are going to redo it, as the animation done in India was proven being not worthy enough for this film by John Lasseter).

Wrt Tink, if India didn't work out, they'll probably go to China or some other low cost place.

Supposedly DisneyToon Studios can make animated sequels based on any established Disney product line (Pooh, Princesses, etc.) ___except___ Pixar products and stories.

As for the politics between DisneyToon Studios and J. Lassetter., I have absolutely no idea. Whatever they work out is fine by me.

Haha, I can explain! I know for the most part, you don't post spoilers. So, I was just looking at your recent posts (in your profile), and that picture came up. I was curious, clicked, and here we are today!

In a way, I don't mind. Because they show that exact scene on commercials! (Not to mention, the interview!)

I'm still avoiding all spoilers, though, such as the Jens one up there^.

For the reasons you've posted. Their trying to keep the two sites seperated, which means, no publicity to either one. I know its silly, but what can you do?

Supertalies, thanks! Wow, you're finding a lot of stuff. I tried to use the clip of Cindy and the Prince transforming, but my computer wouldn't let me. Well, I really like the video, even though I'm dissapointed the way the cake just appeared like that. Disney Toon Studios paid to much attention to the plot and not enough to the magic! Just kidding...

Daniel Jake, I gotcha now! I guess they're strict about the publicity, but I don't understand since they're both run by the same people, right? Disney cross-promotes products with other products all the time. Maybe Animated News/Views is above that.

And are there really commercials for this now?! I haven't seen any yet except for the Disney Channel Really Short Report, which is just a long commercial I guess.

A good friend of mine works in a video store and surprised me with a copy of the film, just the movie, I didn't get to see the bonus features.

I just finished watching it and I have to say that this film has restored my faith in Disney. It's a beautiful, enchanting movie and it should get so much credit for being such a wonderful film. It's funny, romantic, mysterious, and has a beautiful message about true love.

I honestly expected to be dissapointed with the movie because of all of the hype surrounding it but it went far beyond my expectations.

I really don't want to spoil anyone so if you have questions I can try to answer them in the spoiler thread.

If anyone is curious, the animation is done very well, I especially enjoyed the Prince for some reason. The colors and backgrounds are breathtaking and seeing more of the castle was a very nice experience, the little archway with all the flowers was especially beautiful.

Every fan of the original movie much pick this up because I honestly think it's better than the original, it's how the story should have been done if you ask me. It's not just a cut and dry fairy tale, there is more to the story and something at stake, not just the two meeting and instantly falling in love.

Okay now I've talked myself into watching it again, lol.

Maybe because A-N is for confirmed news, while A-V is for rumors and reviews. Make of that what you will!

Yes, they are running them, And not just Disney Channel. I've seen a few on CN, Cw, Fox, etc... Yay, for publicity!

Though, I want the headline commercials. You know, like the ones we got for Cindy II.... "a sheer joy" "recaptures the magic of the original" what half lies! (I'm a sucker for sequels )

Well, The Nikki's review should not be ignored by me just because I'm worried about opinions. Normally, if someone gives a film a bad review, it absoluteley ruins my excitement for the film, at least to a degree. But your review was uplifting, and honest, too. Even though the original will always be my favorite, I know there are films out there that are just better in some ways, and I'll be willing to accept if this film really is better, too. Thank you for the wonderful, non-spoiling review!

Also, I finally saw a commercial for the movie! Or the end of one. It showed the Prince in his study, I think, with the slipper on the table, and then Cinderella actually jumped onto her (purple!) horse! How action-packed! I also loved the shot of the castle at night. And what was really nice was the announcer was a rather masculine sounding male. Perhaps Disney has finally realized Cinderella's potential for the boy market. Of course, I'm sure the Prince's large, heroic role is the reason behind it.

So, I guess Walt Disney Pictures won't be releasing a DVD Pack with the three Cinderella films! I was seraching at Virgin Megastore and I found this! Just the first and the third films... I'm going to buy the pack with the first two films today! I don't have any of them, but I've seen them! Ok!

By the way, don't forget to look closely at the artwork of the DVD pack! Just like the logo at the Official Disney UK Website the BoxSet just says 'Cinderella: A Twist In Time'!

They did the same thing for TLM except, the 2-pack had TLm I and II.
just search for it on amazon.co.uk it was released in the UK in November, 2006!(wish they did that here in the u.s).

It looks really good, but there is one thing I don´t like:

I think it wasn´t a good idea to let Anastasia and the Prince dance to the Viennese Waltz "By The Beautiful Blue Danube" by Johann Strauss.
It takes away the fairy tale-touch when you hear music from the "real world" in a film like this.
Now you can´t say "Once upon a time, long long ago in a far away land..." anymore.
When you hear this waltz you know it must have been arround 1870 in a land like Austria, Germany or something else in this corner of Europe.
But the stile of the dresses, even in the original, gives you clues about the location, too.
But I think the music-choice wasn´t a good one.
Why not a little reprise of "So This Is Love"?

I do like the ads on TV with the castle at the end. reminds me of Disney World (perhaps thats what they want me to think).
