Meh, I don't know. If it's more Terminator and less TMNT, I'll probably check it out. Otherwise, pass.

I'll be seeing it. I just hope that the Transformers look ok and the effects are good.

So many things I already don't like about it, but I will admit the trailer looked great. So yes I'm excited about it.

Looks good. I grew up with the original, but I stopped watching it sometime after the movie came out and things were changing too much. Don't remember much about it now, but I am psyched to see the film.

And that's a good point? Well, I suppose it is if you like explosions.

Judging by the trailer. this could turn out to be a mediocre summer movie.

The Razzies are going to have a field day with this movie because it's directed by Michael Bay.

I never watched Transformers, so I will pass on this film.

If Opitimus Prime has "The Touch" theme music as it's background, I'm defiently watching it.

Stan Bush who did "The Touch" for the Gen 1 movie is supposed to do another song for this movie. Also Optimus will have his original voice as Peter Cullen was cast to do all the voice work for Optimus Prime.

Cullen also did the voice work for Ironhide in the Gen 1 series, but I'm not sure if he is doing the voice work for Ironhide in the movie. From what I have heard though other than Optimus and Megatron the other Transformers don't have many lines.

I really hope they get Frank Welker to do Megatron. Its been rumored forever it seems, but it would only be fitting to have the original Megatron back since Cullen is returning for Optimus.

As the rape and pillage of my childhood continues, I continue to be completely "meh" on the whole shebang.

Transformers was a fun toy commercial in its time - a time that was full of toy commercials pretending to be TV - but it really didn't need to be made into a live action film. Especially by Michael Bay. Although, if anybody was going to make a shallow special effects commercial, it would be The Bayman.

The only thing I have even less interest in is the TMNT film, a craze that we keep thinking has gone away, but refuses to admit that the whole concept is dead.

Then again, so few films get me excited anymore...

I will definitely see it. No one's a bigger Transfan than I am! (ok well really that only applies to Beast Wars  ) but it was because of Beast Wars that I like the original G1. I have all the episodes of G1 on DVD actually and have gone through the series at least 2 if not 3 times. The original my movie I am in absolute love with, I definitely consider it the high-light of G1. This new one though seems, to me, to be a bit too "sci-fi/action" but I keep thinking of the original Transformers as just a fun romp with robots that turn into trucks and cars and jets (and other assorted things like tape players and microscopes :P )
But the thing that makes Woody special, is he'll never give up on you... ever. He'll be there for you, no matter what.

It all seems...kind of goofy and unnecessary. I couldn't help but laugh when I saw the trailer just because it seemed so absurd yet took itself so seriously.

I saw it the other day, and I really enjoyed it. I wasn't expecting to, since I've never seen the cartoons, but I surprisingly, really liked it. The special effects and acting were both really good, and despite being overlong by just a bit, I'd definitely recommend seeing it.

I'm cautiously optimistic... I mean, it's a Michael Bay movie, but on the other hand Spielberg is the Executive Producer. I'd have preferred a Beast Wars film, to be honest... it was the first (and so far, only) TF series to have a cohesive plot, 3-dimensional (both literally and figuratively  ) characters a fascinating story.
