I was just watching escape to witch mountain and it made me think of another movie, I was wondering if anyone has heard about it.
I don't remember all the details.
Its about twins a girl and a boy and they meet each other I believe its at a orphanage and they don't know there related. Theres this guy looking for them. I can't really remember the middle part but (your gonna think I'm crazy) there's something in this movie to do with purple and going to a place or a world where everyone has a twin.
I know that not a lot to go on but if anyone can help me I would appreciate it.
Thanks

Believe it or not, that's the 1995 remake of Escape to Witch Mountain, with Robert Vaughn as the bad guy Edward Bolt, and the twins (named Anna and Danny here) played by Elisabeth Moss and Erik von Detten. The late Vincent Schiavelli was the alien Waldo Fudd, who rounded up the twins (and wore a lot of purple).

There was this female character (Zoe) who seemed to be a narrator throughout, as she tried to find out the secret behind the twins (not just the main one, but all of the twins that gathered for the end).
Two other characters was Mr. Bolt's butler and this weird nature man who lived in the forest and forgot how to talk. The two turned out to be twins as well and joined the other twin aliens when they left earth.
I remember Anna had a sort of boyfriend character, or at least a guy who liked her, and if I remember the characters' names correctly from what the cast list is on IMDB, it was Xander.

Unfortunately, like several of the other 90s remakes of Disney films (Freaky Friday with Shelley Long and The Shaggy Dog with Scott Weinger to name a couple), it's not on DVD. They used to play it frequently on the Disney Channel (circa 1995-1999), but I've rarely seen it since.

I remember a version of Witch Mountain that was made for TV in the 70's where Uncle Rene brought the kids back and they camp in the woods and he dies in his sleep and vanishes. Anyone else remember seeing this?
