JAKE GYLLENHAAL ON SNL!!!

Post by xxhplinkxx »

Please tell me some of you saw this!!!! It was the best episode I've seen of SNL in quite some time. The Dreamgirls this in the beginning was friggin pure gold!! Not only is he the sexiest man alive, but he can sing!!! Now I HAVE to see him in a musical!! For those of you who missed it, heres a link to the Dreamgirls skit from the openning monologue.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMSEvF7xJ4c

Priceless. Simply priceless.

I LOVE YOU JAKE!!!!!!!!!

It is taken of Youtube :(
What do you like about him really? It is always about Jake Gyllenhaal everywhere, is it just cause of the movie Brokeback or something else that is missed? Btw is he straight or gay in real? I know he dated Kirstin a while back, who is he dating now?

Taken off YouTube. I really hate those pieces of absolute shit at major studios who won't let websites show small pieces of scenes. It's not like you will EVER see this on DVD. I am so sick of money-hungry a**h*les! They ruin everything for everyone!

Oh well.

Wow, you are angry haha! I will change the spelling of of to off :P And yes it sucks - they should leave some material on youtube alone! Disney also removes a lot of the youtube content  I understand why they do it, but it is no fun!

I don't get it either why everyone is so crazy about him! In my opinion Brokeback was a lame movie! (Don't stone me, please!) I fell asleep watching it, and that only happens if the movie really bores me.

I have to agree with you. There are movies of this kind much more deep and emotional. It was just the whole gay thing that made that movie so polpular. Not a bad film, but not the masterpiece everybody was expecting.

Exactly, it was unusual, but not exceptional! Many movies that have a straight couple in it are much deeper and more emotional, and better written.
I am "pro gay", and I think they should have the same rights regarding marriage as everyone else does. They're normal people!! I think the movie somehow made people much more aware of homosexual realtionships which is a good thing and kind of destroyed the cowboy immage, but seen simply as a film, it was boring.

Okay so I won't even voice my opinions on some of the various statements made already, in fear of landing on Escapay's WTF list again.

I thought it was a pretty weak episode of SNL (especially following the hilarious Justin Timberlake episode), but I will say that the opening skit and the JG's monologue/Dreamgirls performance were hilarious.

Actually, I liked him a looooong time before Brokeback Mountain. Besides easily being the best looking man I have ever seen, everything I've ever seen him on (not in roles, as himself) he seems like a really smart, down to earth guy with a great sense of humor and he's someone who doesnt seem to care what people think of him.
The Merman wrote:Btw is he straight or gay in real? I know he dated Kirstin a while back, who is he dating now?
The man is straight. Much to the dismay of gay men everywhere.

The "gay thing"? Are you kidding me?

Yea, I'll agree that it wasnt as great as I was hoping it to be, but it was still important because it tackled something that unfortunately is an issue in todays world.
