What movie do you want to see this weekend?
It's Christmas weekend, one of the most successful moviegoing weekends all year, and there are five (!) new movies debuting this weekend, crowded even for a holiday weekend. Out of curiosity, what movie(s) are you interested in seeing this weekend?

Me, I want to see all of these. In order of importance to me:
1) In America - finally coming to my arthouse
2) The Return of the King (again)
3) Peter Pan
4) Young Black Stallion
5) Cold Mountain
6) Cheaper By the Dozen
So I voted for my #1 choice. Odd, too, I added an Other option, but it didn't show up. Oh well. If you want to see something else, write it in the thread.

Sheesh, I forgot to include Paycheck, and I wanna see that too (!). And I changed my mind, Cheaper looks stupid, I don't want to see it.

Oh I know...as a matter of fact, we saw Titanic in a less-than-titanic movie theatre in Harrison back in 1997 or '98, whenever it was released. I just doubt very highly that I'll be able to convince the wife and sis-in-law to see that instead of something like Mona Lisa Smiles or Cheaper by the Dozen.

Damn straight! I saw it on NYE (in the champagne and beer filled La Premiere section of Fox Studios, of course...so it was kinda celebratory) and of that doesn't win this time, I will (as previously promised) personally slap every memeber of the Academy.Uncle Remus wrote:i saw LotR Return of the King. the movie should win the Best Piucture Oscar
Might see it again on the weekend actually...
