You gonna see it? I've only seen it all the way once in 2002, and it was pretty cool. I might actually have a chance to catch the whole thing this year, I just hope they don't overdo the Disney Channel stuff, especially with High School Musical.

The Walt Disney World Parade 2006; You Gonna See It?
Well, as any respectable Disney Theme Parks fan should know(or any Disney fan with a television should know for that matter) that nearly every year since 1984, they've had the Parade at Walt Disney World along with other coverage at the other parks, hosted by Regis and Kelly. It's on 10:00 am Eastern Time on Christmas Day.
You gonna see it? I've only seen it all the way once in 2002, and it was pretty cool. I might actually have a chance to catch the whole thing this year, I just hope they don't overdo the Disney Channel stuff, especially with High School Musical.

I don't really watch this anymore. Sometimes we sorta half-watch it while opening gifts, but the fact is that it seems to be 99 percent about promoting their worst things, like Disney Channel-made musical acts. It used to be really cool, because even though they promoted stuff throughout, they had behind the scenes stuff on their latest animated features and such (like back during the Renaissance), but now it seems Disney is all about the tween stuff, ABC shows(I don't even watch the major networks myself, except "Heroes"), etc... I just don't bother with it now. We too wrapped up in unwrapping gifts anyway, and then like to put on a Christmas movie, followed by going out for an early dinner (at the local Chinese buffet, taking a cue from "A Christmas Story," we stopped doing the double-take on Thanksgiving around 4 years ago... one turkey a year is enough for me...).
