Does anyone know if the full set of 7 Disney Treasures are going to be released in the Uk (region 2). I know that 'Mickey Mouse in Living Colour' and 'Silly Symphonies' are due for release this spring, but how about the others?
Also, I notice that the US Disney Treasures consist of two discs per DVD, and that the UK version is only one. Does that mean that the UK version has less content than the US version, or has all the content been squashed onto one disc, if that is possible.
Can anyone shed any light on this for me. Thanks.

Re: Disney Treasures - Uk releases
I don't think that's correct. The UK versions will most likely be two discs, just like the Scandinavian versions that were released in November. If you don't want to wait, you can order from some Scandinavian site, and you can have them within a few days.Amanda wrote:Also, I notice that the US Disney Treasures consist of two discs per DVD, and that the UK version is only one. Here's a link to a Swedish web-merchant that will ship internationally:
http://www.dvdsverige.com/
Click on the British flag to get the web-site (mostly) in English.
The Swedish Treasures come with the back cover in Swedish, but everything else is in English.

I don't think Davy Crockett, Disneyland USA and Behind the Scenes are going to be released in region 2.Amanda wrote:Does anyone know if the full set of 7 Disney Treasures are going to be released in the Uk (region 2). I might be wrong, but it seems they'll only release the cartoon sets.
The BBFC has passed one of the Davey Crockett films (I cannot remember which one) and the Australian board have passed the other DC film, so it looks like the UK and Australia will be getting the re-edited film versions rather than the episodic television releases.
I would guess this would mean no DC Treasures (But I would also guess the awful "Everybody Loves..." and "Fables" compilations would mean no Cartoon treasures - so I don't think anybody can guess what Disney is thinking)

Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database
