Small World should've been there from the start. Nonetheless, great news. Thanks for sharing, Loomis.

Looks like it. Marie is huge in Asia. At Tokyo Disneyland there is Marie merchandise absolutely everywhere, which completely boggled me. I'm assuming Hong Kong would be somewhat the same?

Yes, seems to have quite a following. While I didn't see her during my visit, this photo is in much of their press:

I feel like i really need to see The Aristocats again to try and figure out this asian facination with this character, other than she's cute. Maybe that is all it is though... i dunno, i guess i'm glad we're getting that special edition next year.

I think that parade looks like a lot of fun, and that It's a Small World looks pretty neat as well. My only problem is that i hold to the belief that the Disney parks should be more different than they are, i think it would boost tourism from farther places. My biggest pet peeve is that the castles in Tokyo and Hong Kong are almost exactly the same as they are in the U.S. That's just dumb to me. Why not do Snow White's Castle or The Beast's Castle or even Ariel's Castle. Oh well i went off topic...

Anyway, i really do think all the designs look great!!!

The hits just keep on coming! Our spy has come through for us in a big way! Of course, our spy has always provided us with quality shots, but I think you'll all agree that this next set of photos goes above and beyond...The Berm.

While these can all be seen at full size in the Gallery, here is a quick teaser of the shot depicting what seems to be the structure of "it's a small world" taking shape.

Does anyone know what language the theme song will be sung in in the finale scene of Small World? I certainly hope it's Cantonese, because that would carry on the tradition of playing the song in the finale in a different language, depending on where the Disney park is. So at Disneyland Paris, it's in French and at Tokyo Disneyland, it's Japanese. Only in the parks at Disneyland and Walt Disney World is the song in the finale performed in English.

Construction seems to be breaking out all over the park - including Adventureland and the Promenade! Photos and info right here, folks.

Our vigilant Spy has been working overtime to bring us a great collection of new photos today. We've not only got an EXCLUSIVE look at the land being cleared for possible Adventureland expansion, but we have a new set of shots showing the "it's a small world" construction quite clearly.

I too wonder why Marie has such a big fanbase in Hong Kong. I think that it has to with her similar physical appearance to Hello Kitty.
